You’ll find innovations throughout the XT5 that keep you, your world and your vehicle

fully integrated. Take, for instance, Adaptive Remote Start. Designed within your

key fob, it engages the engine from up to 92 metres away and can sense the outside

temperature to heat your steering wheel, if equipped, and activate the rear-window

defogger when needed. Plus, with your myCadillac® App1 and a paid subscription, you

can lock, unlock2 and remote-start2 your vehicle and get select vehicle information

from anywhere you have reception.

The available built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot3 (data plan required) allows you to connect

up to seven devices at the same time, from up to 15 metres away from your XT5. So your

passengers can check their email or watch their favorite entertainment. Also, when you

plug in your iPhone®, you will have access to Apple Music, Siri® and other information as a

part of Apple CarPlay 4.

With Keyless Access, you can unlock the doors without removing the key fob from your

pocket or handbag. It also works in reverse, automatically locking the doors when you exit

the vehicle. Available Surround Vision5 provides a bird’s-eye view of the area immediately

HELP KEEP AN EYE ON PEDESTRIANSFront Pedestrian Braking, available as part

of the Driver Awareness Package, uses a

camera to scan the road ahead. If a pedestrian

is detected, the system alerts the driver and, if

necessary, applies the brakes to help avoid or

reduce the severity of a potential collision.

AN INTELLIGENT WIPER Available Rainsense Wipers automatically engage

when rain is detected, adjusting their speed to

the rain’s intensity. Whenever the wipers are

activated, available Auto-Dry brakes automatically

position the brake pads closer to the rotors to

sweep away moisture and improve performance.

TRULY FORWARD THINKINGAvailable Forward Collision Alert monitors

traffic ahead, alerting you if a potential collision

with a detected vehicle is imminent, while the

available Following Distance Indicator shows the

following time to the vehicle detected ahead (in

seconds) in the Driver Information Centre (DIC).

Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn you of oncoming

with available Real-Time Damping behind the wheel of the XT5. The transmission

seamlessly employs eight gears to infinite advantage. The powerful engine activates

or deactivates cylinders as performance and efficiency demand. And the available

AWD system directs torque to the wheels that will use it best. The XT5 is an automobile

that makes driving a singular delight.

The 3.6 L V6 engine delivers 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. Statistics tell only part

of this advanced power plant’s exciting story. It is also equipped with intelligent

technologies such as Active Fuel Management and Cadillac’s Auto Stop/Start feature.

The former deactivates engine cylinders when less power is needed. The latter

automatically stops and starts the engine when the vehicle is stopped in traffic

& Security Plan coverage from the trial activation date, which includes navigation services,

10 years of standard connectivity at no additional charge and enables Vehicle Diagnostics and
