1. To provide Clubs with finance to fund their ongoing develop-ments both on and off the field. The Draw has been an outstanding success, with the Clubs of the County making over a staggering €19 million euros since the Draw commenced (at no risk to the Clubs as the Cork County Board funds the prizes and admin costs). It also has enabled the Board to fund coaching and youth develop-ment in the County.

2. To provide the CLCG Chorcaí with funds for coaching youth development throughout the County

3. support the capital develop-ment of the Pairc Uí Chaoímh.

PAST NEAR FUTURE PROJECT INCLUDES

�e Rebel Óg Coaching Commi�ee is charged with increasing participation and optomising playing standards at youth level in Cork. �is work is carried out through club and school support programmes, development squads and by a comprehensive coach education programme.�e work is underpinned by the 10 full time games development sta� working on the ground who are part funded through the Cork GAA Clubs Draw.

FUTURE IS LOOKING BRIGHT FOR CORK GAA

MONSTER BLITZES U8s/9s/10sEvery club is invited to one blitz per month (March – October) in both hurling and football at u8 and u10 level. Bigger clubs also a�end u9 blitzes every month�ere will be 9,000 children participate by the end of October 2015Emphasis on FUN and participation with games being played at 7 a side and 9 a side meaning all players get more touches of the ball in games.Children get to practice and develop the skills of the game in an age appropriate environment. Skill tests are carried out at blitzes to ensure coaches are focusing on bilateral coordination

A number of u6 and u7 blitzes have been introduced in 2015 where demand occurs.Workshops run by GDA’s for all clubs in Cork at the beginning of the season to up skill coaches on coaching best practice for these age groups

BENCHMARKING�is Scheme was set up to recognize clubs who have met coaching best practice targets as set out by Rebel Óg Coaching in 2015.Clubs can achieve in Bronze, Silver and Gold Categories depending on their level of commitment to the criteria.

All clubs in Cork signed up in April to try and meet the criteria at some level and GDA’s are working with clubs to ensure they meet criteria.

COACH EDUCATIONWorkshops available to clubs on a year round basisOver 1000 coaches participated in Coaching Courses in 2015Over 70 courses organized in the Winter period for club coachesGDA’s organized coaching workshops ahead of the Monster Blitz Programme and ahead of Cúl Camps in all Regions.

3. To qualify for the August Draw, members paying per month must have at least 2 monthly subscriptions paid prior to the draw.

4. If for any reason the 1st prize winner in the draw is deemed invalid, all the other prize winners will automati-cally move up one place.

5. The decision of the Cork GAA Clubs Draw Com-mittee will be final on all matters.

6. first two draws take place on 31st October, 2016. All subsequent draws take place on the last Thursday of each month except December and August. The organisers reserve the right to alter the Prizes or Draw dates in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
