THE DELOREAN

1The DeLorean from "Back to the Future." Responsible for transporting Michael J. Fox's character Marty back in time, and then once more back to the future, the DeLorean DMC-12 traveled at 88 mph to go back in time. It may not be the sleekest looking vehicle, but with those trend-setting doors and the ability to travel through time, the DeLorean tops our list.

BUMBLEBEE

2Bumblebee from “Transformers.” An alien car that turns from a beat-up old junk car to a beautiful brand-new Camaro and helps Sam save the world. He transforms at will into a powerful Autobot ally for Earth. He’s badass. He doesn’t talk, but he’s able to fully communicate with Sam with very few problems. If only we could all find a Transformer at a used car lot.

BATMOBILE

3Batmobile from “Batman Begins.” There have been numerous Batmobiles throughout the Batman series; however, this one takes the cake. It goes from 0 to 60 in just 5 seconds. It can also withstand a 30-foot self-propelled launch. This definitely makes the Batmobile one of the most badass rides in a Batman movie - actually, in any movie.

TURBO

4Chevy Camaro “Turbo” Coup from “Turbo.” OK, so this fine vehicle wasn’t actually in the movie, but it was designed to promote the animated film “Turbo.” That’s right. A Dreamworks movie about a super-fast snail now has a supercharged V-8 engine, 700-horsepower driving machine.

LEXUS 2054

5 Lexus 2054 from “Minority Report.” Lexus was challenged to create a vehicle for Steven Spielberg’s motion picture that would fit the lifestyle of 2054. What Lexus created is nothing short of impressive. The vehicle runs on fuel cells and swagger with a crash-proof structure.

SHELBY COBRA

6967 Shelby Cobra, affectionately known as Eleanor, from “Gone in Sixty Seconds.” She’s the scene-stealing unicorn for car thief Memphis Raines, played by Nicholas Cage. If the elusive Eleanor isn’t chosen on pedigree as a high-performance Mustang, then she surely makes the list on sheer beauty. Built by Shelby American from 1965-1967 and Shelby Automotive from 1968-1970, the Shelby was reborn in 2007, but it’s not exactly Eleanor.

LOTUS ESPRIT SI

Lotus Esprit SI from “The Spy Who Loved Me.” It turns into a submarine. We’re pretty sure that makes it one of the top contenders for Badass rides. It was also fully equipped with a cement sprayer for any pursuing vehicles. Few would want to be the villain driving the other car. 7

MINI COOPER

BMW Mini Coopers from “The Italian Job.” These aren’t your ordinary Mini Coopers. They were specially designed to hold a LOT of gold and maneuver through the crowded streets of L.A., into the subway while surviving the impact of a jump from the subway back outdoors. Mini Coopers make sense for L.A. driving, but these super-charged Mini’s make stealing millions of dollars in gold bricks look easy.

THE MYSTERY MACHINE

9 The Mystery Machine from “Scooby-Doo.” Badass may not necessarily apply, but it’s definitely the most psychedelic. Plus, you can crunch on Scooby Snacks and chill with Shaggy.

THUNDERBIRD

1966 Thunderbird from “Thelma & Louise.” One of Ford’s first attempts at a sports car, the T-bird was designed to turn heads. From a small road trip turned crime spree, Thelma and Louise surely turned a few heads with their T-bird. Plus, you can’t forget the scene where Thelma drives them off the Grand Canyon. Yep – the ladies and the car are both Badass.

LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. This badass Italian ride is equipped with a V-12 engine and carbon fiber technology. It represents all things Lamborghini, but is ahead of its time. It’s legendary. (COST: $397,500)1

MAYBACH EXELERO

2Maybach Exelero. Only one of these has ever been made, and with a price tag of $8 million, it’s most definitely unique. What makes it badass is the fact that it has a V-12 twin-turbo engine, 700 horses and goes a max speed of 351km/hr (218 mph). That’s more than just a fast car.

LAMBORGHINI VENENO

3 Lamborghini Veneno. Another Italian has made it on the list. This one is exclusive, since only three cars are available for purchase. It takes 2.8 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph and reaches a top speed of 221 mph. Priced at $4,500,000, this Lamborghini is definitely a badass.

LYKAN HYPERSPORT

4 Dubai-based company W Motors, it’s introducing 7 of these $3.4 million sports cars. With a flat 6 twin-turbo engine, 750 horses that tops out at 245 mph, you’re nearly impossible to catch - and quite the badass.

BUGATTI VEYRON

5 Bugatti Veyron Super Sports. In 2010, it was the fastest legal street car, hitting 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds. The base Veyron costs a mere $1.7 million. So if you’re trying to race a Bugatti, be prepared to lose to this badass ride. You’ll be a speck in his rearview mirror in no time.

MERCEDES BENZ SPRINTER

6 Mercedes Benz Sprinter. This fully customized Sprinter is epic for a night out, a tailgater, a mobile office. Equipped with TVs, lounges, bars, recliners and an ultimate sound system, this is a dream ride for the mobile badass. Bring the party everywhere you go.

CHEVROLET CORVETTE

7 Chevrolet Corvette. It’ a classic. This was the first generation ‘Vette. Popular in the 1950s and ‘60s, it proved that American cars could compete in the sports car realm. Classic and badass is a pretty dangerous combination.

KOENIGSEGG AGERA R

8 Koenigsegg Agera R. This Swedish sports car is the badass best-of-both-worlds car. It has a detachable stowaway hardtop. You can even fit some luggage in this ride. The best part? It goes 0 to 200 in 17.68 seconds, just in case you’re in a hurry.

1969 FORD MUSTANG

9 1969 Ford Mustang. The classic American muscle, the Boss 429 Mustang was not a Shelby Mustang Ford. It had a semi-hemi 429 engine, and Ford had hopes of getting the engine into NASCAR. Even though that didn’t work, this pony car still had the power and the badass capabilities of a longer race and smooth handling.

ASTON MARTIN ONE

10Aston Martin One 77. Why is it called the One 77? This badass ride will only have 77 units created. Don’t try and save $1.4 million to buy your own; they’ve already been sold. The One 77 has a V-12 engine with 700 horses and a carbon-fiber body. It does 0 to 60 in under 3.7 seconds. Don’t blink. It has reached speeds of 222 mph, making it the fastest Aston Martin out there.
