Platform

The financial markets are comprised of four Capital Markets; Currencies (coins), Commodities (Resources), Stocks (Company shares), Indices (index groups).Trading existed from the dawn of time, every one of us exchanges at least once in their life one currency for another for a trip and receives a different amount per coin on their return trip, and while there are similarities between these scenario and forex trading there must be some clarifications to two terms the client won’t understand unless you add metaphor.

24 hours a day 5 days a week of potential profits!

Instant execution, no need to call the bank and wait.

Simplicity, everyone can learn and everyone can earn.

Buying gold (for example) could be demonstrated with this scenario:

1. You enter to a gold shop, in the shop there's limited supply of gold.2. You buy the option to buy a hundred ounce of gold (a gold contract) - basically hold the gold in your hand and put the money on the table (the collateral money here serves as a margin).

Prices change?

1. People who actually buy and sell gold affect supply and demand2. Inflation change on the paired currency Now, the price of the gold is different, for the example the price of gold is now 20 more USD per ounce, because you bought the option to buy gold you turn in the option and receive 20 more USD to each gold ounce you have.Selling works the opposite, instead of entering the store with money, you enter with gold ounces and put them on the table as collateral and receive money for them, and it’s basically using the gold as currency for USD. Once these concepts are clear, it’s easy to understand the potential. In the next few pages we are going to walk you through the 10Markets Web Trader and it’s functionality. Before receiving access to it you will be required to log in with your trading account number and associated password. Click the Real Trading Login button and you will be prompted to input your trading account number and its password.

It’s important to understand that buying or selling an option in the forex is not like buying or selling an actual item. While in life buying implies a change of ownership, in trading - in practice - you won't receive a truck full of gold for every contract you're buying.

Basic strategies

Forex isn't time based, as such - you actually benefit from longer term positions that are rightly placed. The easiest concept to grasp is "reading a trend".

Reading a trend:

A trend is basically a channel (two parallel lines) of market prices in a decreasing or increasing direction. It is observable by zooming out to the middle setting, and scaling out from a minute into a whole month.

The benets of trading a trend:

1. By trading a trend you ensure that even if the market goes against you on the short term, on the long term it goes with you and supports your position.2. A trend is extremely easy to read and you can do this without much training or previous experence, it is visible from distance.

The disadvantage of trading a trend:

If you measure your probable risk - you need to be looking to the worst of all times in both directions. While you trade with the trend, the majority of the movement is behind you - therefore the risk is determined as larger on the short term - to avoid you must prepare a large equity - to maintain margin levels.

W E B E L I E V E I N Y O U9

"Trading a correction"

The market moves only by abnormal movements, every movement you will observe will have a counter force attempting to correct it - the larger the movement the larger the opposition that follows.

Reading a correction

a correction happens in contrast to the trend, therefore you are required to understand how to read the trend, and prepare for spikes in the trend direction, this method requires training in hedging in case of a misplaced trade.

The benets of trading a correction:

1. Quick aggressive profits will result in a well-timed correction entry.2. Properly trading a correction is extremely easy and does not require additional training.3. If you're focusing on a particularly large spike that is based on fundamental elements your profits would be swift.

The disadvantage of trading a correction:

Trading a correction require high awareness to the market, and constant observation, it is not suitable for swingers or intraweek traders, people with weak hearts or pregnant women.
