STORY OF THANKSGIVINGThe story of Thanksgiving starts with the

Pilgrims. The Pilgrims were people who left England and came to America in 1620, because they wanted to practice their religion freely.

know how to grow food and how to hunt in America.

They also did not know how to build strong homes. They were very cold.

In the spring of 1621 some Native Americans started to help the Pilgrims grow food and make homes.
