Three Special Regions of South Carolina

The state of South Carolina consists of the three main regions Upstate, Midlands and Coastal. The Upstate is located in the north of the state, where Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson are located. The Midlands consists of the interior with places such as Columbia, Rock Hill, Florence, Aiken and Lexington. Finally, the coastal region is located in the south on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
