Warnings/precautions

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Use Microwave Hot Pot only as directed in this manual. Improper use can cause damage and result in injury or harm.

• Do not use if Microwave Hot Pot becomes damaged.

• ONLY use in your microwave. Do not use in an oven or on a stove top.

• Do not use with a microwave on a convection setting.

• The handle can get hot during cooking. Always use protection when removing from the microwave after cooking and when removing the lid.

• Hot steam may continue to rise through the chimney after cooking.

• Do not place onto a heat sensitive surface after cooking.

• Do not heat in a microwave for longer than 30 minutes.

Using Microwave Hot Pot

• Clean before first use.

• For all recipes, food should be cooked on a high power setting.

• If using multiple Hot Pots in the same microwave, allow additional time for cooking.

• Ensure all food is cooked fully before consuming.

Cleaning

• Allow to cool before cleaning

• Microwave Hot Pot is dishwasher safe.

• Hand wash in warm, soapy water.

• Allow to dry fully before storing or using again.

PERFECT POACHED EGG

1. Place 1/4 teaspoon of water into the Hot Pot.

2. Crack the egg into the Hot Pot and season with the salt and pepper.

3. Cover with the lid and microwave for 20 seconds.

4. Leave the Hot Pot in the microwave for another 20 seconds to allow the egg to set.

5. Cook again for 20 seconds and remove from the microwave.

Tip: If you want to add grated cheese, sprinkle some on top and place the lid back on for 45 seconds. No need to place it back in the microwave.

HAM AND CHEESE OMELETTE

1. Whisk 2 large eggs thoroughly and place them into the Hot Pot.

2. Add the ham and grated cheese and season with salt and pepper.

3. Cover with the lid and cook in the microwave for 1:30 - 2 minutes.

4. Remove from the microwave. Make sure it is thoroughly cooked through. Continue cooking for a few minutes at a time if necessary until light and fluffy.

FRESH TOMATO PASTA SAUCE

1. Chop 5 plum tomatoes and place them in the Hot Pot with 1 tbsp of white wine.

2. Cover with the lid and microwave for 1 minute.

3. Remove and stir.

4. Add the olive oil, the dried oregano and the crushed clove of garlic. Microwave for 2 and a half minutes.

5. Remove from the microwave and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste.

6. Pour over pasta and serve with fresh basil.

SWEET BAKED ONION

1. Core one large peeled onion, without digging a hole all the way to the bottom. Leave the bottom side of the onion intact.

2. Crush the beef or vegetable stock cube and place with the butter into the hole you’ve made.

3. Cover with the lid and microwave for 4 minutes.

4. Let it rest for 1 minute and remove from the microwave.

5. Serve on its own or cut up to accompany a roasted joint of meat.

SIZZLING GARLIC PRAWNS

1. Place the crushed garlic, butter, white wine, and the salt and pepper into the Hot Pot.

2. Cover with the lid and microwave for a minute.

3. Add the prawns, the juice of half a lemon and mix together.

4. Replace the lid and microwave for another minute.

5. Check the prawns are pink and perfectly cooked through (if not, replace the lid and cook further).

6. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.

MEGA SWEET POTATO WEDGES

1. Cut the sweet potato into chunky wedges.

2. Add the maple syrup and butter.

3. Sprinkle over some cinnamon and season with salt and pepper.

4. Cover with the lid and microwave for 3 minutes, then stir.

5. Cover again and cook for another minute.

AUBERGINE PARMAGIANA

1. Cut 2 slices of aubergine, each about 1cm thick.

2. Place one aubergine slice in the Hot Pot and season with salt and pepper.

3. Add a tablespoon of tomato puree, a slice of mozzarella and half the grated parmesan.

4. Sprinkle over a large handful of breadcrumbs.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 to create a second layer.

6. Cover with the lid and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes and serve.

BROCCOLI WITH LEMON ALMOND BUTTER

1. Place a large handful of broccoli florets into the Hot Pot.

2. Add the butter and a handful of blanched, slivered almonds.

3. Zest and juice the lemon. Add the zest and half the juice to the Pot.

4. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes.

5. Add the remaining lemon juice to taste.

EASY CAULIFLOWER CHEESE

1. Place a large handful of cauliflower florets into the Hot Pot with a tablespoon of water. Cover and microwave for 3 minutes. Drain, remove from the Hot Pot and set aside.

2. Melt the butter and place in the Hot pot. Add the flour and stir well. Microwave for a minute.

3. Slowly pour in the milk, continually stirring, and return to the microwave for 2 and a half minutes, stopping to stir every minute.

4. Add the grated cheddar cheese.

5. Add the cauliflower back to the Hot Pot and mix in.

6. Cover and microwave for at least 1 more minute or longer if required.

POTATO DAUPHINOISE

1. Pour the milk into the Hot Pot.

2. Thinly slice 3 potatoes.

3. Add a bottom layer of potato onto the milk and season with salt and pepper.

4. Sprinkle a good handful of grated cheddar cheese on top.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 until you reach the top of the dish.

6. Sprinkle the top layer with cheddar cheese, cover and micro-wave for 3 minutes.

7. Remove from the microwave and test with a knife. If the knife slides smoothly through the potato, cooking is complete. If not, cook for another 2 minutes. Repeat until soft.

8. Leave to stand for 1-2 minutes with the lid on before serving.

LOW CARB SESAME MANGE TOUT

1. Place the mange tout in the Hot Pot with the soy sauce and dark sesame oil. Mix together so that the mange tout becomes coated.

2. Cover with the lid and microwave for 1 and a half minutes.

3. Sprinkle over some sesame seeds.

CAREMALISED CARROTS

1. Thinly slice the carrots, add to the Hot Pot and season with salt and pepper. Add 1 teaspoon of water, cover and microwave for 2 minutes.

2. Add the honey and butter. Squeeze in half a fresh lemon and mix well. Cover and microwave for 30 seconds.

QUICKEST CHOCOLATE CAKE EVER!

1. Whisk 1 small egg until light and fluffy.

2. Add the plain flour and sugar. Whisk the ingredients together.

3. Add the cocoa powder and milk to the mixture and mix well.

4. Add the vanilla essence and vegetable oil. Whisk well.

5. Add the chocolate chips.

6. Pour mixture into Hot Pot and cover with the lid. Microwave for 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

7. Serve with ice cream.

4 tbsps plain flour4 tbsps sugar

2 tbsps cocoa powder3 tbsps milk

2 drops vanilla essence1 tsp vegetable oil

3 heaped tbsps chocolate chips

BAKED APPLE AND CINNAMON

1. Place the apple segments and 1 tablespoon of water into the Hot Pot. Cover with the lid and microwave for 2 minutes.

2. Remove and pour out the excess liquid (be careful as the liquid will be very hot).

3. Add the sugar, the cinnamon and the butter and mix well.

4. Top with a handful of bread crumbs, replace the lid and microwave for 1 more minute.

5. Remove from the microwave and serve with ice cream, custard or cream.
