Detection, record and analysis of social inequalities in health care access for immigrants /migrants living in Greece
HEALTH POLICY CHALLENGES:
• Best practices implemented in other EU countries and Review of European policies have been taken into account in order to define ICT valuable tools that facilitate the diffusion of data by electronic means and assist healthcare givers and migrants
• Proposals and actions to overcome the inequalities in immigrants' access to health services and improve the quality of health care included also recommendations to governmental organizations and NGOs.

Under the funded research program a web portal was developed and adapted accordingly to fit the technical requirements for its integration for use via info-kiosks, designed to facilitate the access of migrants to healthcare services in Greece via its discrete modules of interaction (www.healthgate4all.gr).

• Health information, early warning system for potential health problems. Cost effective solution , easily replicated by different countries, one stop shop in migrants’ pathways personalized health care.
• ICT tools of the project outcomes can be extended to elderly, chronic patients, people with special needs and care givers

FUTURE CHALLENGES OF ICT

• On-Device Portal (ODP), VPN Technology (Virtual Private Network)
What do patients want from Health Care Technology (Cole, 2018):
• m- health relevant to the real needs, require less time, not too complicated , real time data collection, personal data protection
• Ability to alert both patient & health care professionals to sudden changes
