THAI LANGUAGE LESSONSL24 - Verbs
Verbs are of course, action words. We have already introduced plenty of verbs in theprevious lessons but let's just take a moment to clear up how to use them.
We have already seen in lesson 14 that verbs do not change their form depending on tense.Instead, Thai has add-on words to define tense if necessary.
Thai verbs are used in much the same way as English verbs. They are placed after thesubject and before any object or adverb.

The verb comes after the subject:
pom bpai - I gokoon mah - You come
If there is an object, the verb comes before the object:
pom gin plah - I eat fishpom ruk koon - I love you
If there is an adverb, the verb comes before the adverb:
koon dern cha cha - You walk slowlykoon yim suay suay - You smile beautifully
If there is an object and an adverb, the order issubject + verb + object + adverb:
pom bpai poo-get boi boi - I go to Phuket oftenpom kap rot ray-oh ray-oh - I drive the car quickly
