WE WELCOME MIKE LATSKO to our pulpit this morning. Mike has been a missionary to France, pastored two churches and has been a speaker for Frontiers USA since 2004. He and his wife Sally and their teenage son live in Phoenix. JULY 4TH INDEPENDENCE DAY will be celebrated here Sunday evening, June 28, at 5:00 pm with our Sanctuary Choir, the Saxophone Quartet, fun patriotic songs, and flag waving. OUR NEXT BAPTISMAL SERVICE will be held on Sunday, July 5, at 12:00 pm. If you would like to be baptized, please check the appropriate box on your registration card or call Eileen at 623-972-6414. OUR CHURCH LENDING LIBRARY is accepting donations of Christian music on CDs. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE AN ELDER? If so, please fill out the Prospective Elder Information Form located in the rack at the Connection Center and turn it in to the church office. NEIGHBORHOOD OUTREACH—You are needed to help invite newcomers to our neighborhood to come to GBC. Get your “marching orders” at 9:30 am Wednesdays in the Library. The event will be held here at Grace Bible Church on Wednesday, July 29, at 10:00 am. PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS—The Grace & Mercy Homeless Ministries thanks you for your over- whelming response. We have plenty of bags for the time being. Please do not bring any more bags until further notice. Russ is a Native American, from the Tlingit and Haida tribes of Alaska. He is a Warrior-in-Training with C H I E F Ministries while he works online toward aaining a Bachelor of Theology degree from Tyndale Theological Seminary. The mission of CHIEF is to come alongside the leadership of the church to encourage them and establish them in God’s Word so they will capably lead and teach their own people. In keeping with this, the last six years, Russ and Elvie have been working in northern Arizona on the Hopi Reservation at Kykotsmovi Mennonite Church. The church is about four-and-one-half hours north of Phoenix. Russ has been teaching the Word of God on the last Sunday of each month. We praise God for your partnership in doing His great work. Thank you, as well, for the kind words of encouragement to our family as we work together to bring glory to our great God. Pray for the Hopi Nation that there would be a yearning to know the Word of God. Pray for us on the last Sunday of the month that God would give us wisdom in encouraging and teaching these brothers and sisters in Christ, and for strength and quick recovery of Russ’ back and shoulders from the long drives up north.
