Info From Mrs. Sharbaugh about GT Info From Mrs. Sharbaugh about GT Seminars (read it and decide what Seminars (read it and decide what

you need to write down)you need to write down)

• * Students MUST make up the work they miss from class when attending a seminar session in the Think Tank.

• * Students need to make a habit of asking permission to attend a seminar session in the Think Tank a day or two before the actual meeting.

GT info continued (read and decide GT info continued (read and decide what you need to write down)what you need to write down)

* Students cannot attend a seminar session unless they have their schedule to use as a pass, which homeroom teachers distribute approximately once per month. Many students store them in their X-File-type folder that they keep in the front of their binder or somewhere in the very front of their binder where it is easily accessible and can also serve as a reminder. Some kids even staple it into their agenda book.

GT info continued (read and decide GT info continued (read and decide what you need to write down)what you need to write down)

* If students are working in a group within the seminar (ex: Debate, Film, etc.) then they MUST follow through with tasks they agreed to take on for the group, coming prepared to the session with that task done.

* Students should write down the dates/times of seminar meetings in their agenda books when they receive the schedule during homeroom distribution.

If you have extra time…

• Make a list of items needed for locker stops and tape it into your locker
