EXT. DEPOT - TA VERION

An establishing shot of a bustling, futuristic depot.Through a glass view port we see sleek, white hoveringtrains pull into the platforms where crowds wait to board.

FOCUS ON DBRONZE who walks through the depot, WHISTLING tohimself as he searches for something or someone through thecrowds.

ANNOUNCER (O.S.)(filtered)

Platform six will depart in

twenty menaats. All passengersplease make your way over,ensuring boarding idents areready for verification.

EXT. DEPOT PLATFORM

A crowd of people exit from a train. Theres a buzz ofconversation as people chat amongst themselves.

We follow a person in the crowd, a dark skinned, lean,muscled man in his early thirties. He carries a heavyduffel bag slung over his shoulder.

Theres something in his confident swagger that tellspeople that hes not someone you should mess with. Thepeople closest to him in the crowd giving him a wide berth.

Dbronze spots him with a grin and walks over. He pulls theman into a manly, BEAR HUG.

DBRONZELong time no see, Trey.

TREYForty four years too long.

(smirks; off Dbronze)Always knew ya were a soft touch,Debrozorias.

They BREAK from the hug and start to casually walk togetherthrough the depot.

DBRONZEDont be callin me that here. Yaknow I prefer Dbronze.

TREYJust wanted ta see that look onya face when I said it. Worksevery time.

Dbronze shakes his head with a rueful smile. They pause asthey reach a set of glass doors. Through this we can seethat A.T.Vs, A.S.Ps and various other transports are parkedjust outside.

DBRONZEYa tolska.

(beat; nods)My A.T.Vs just out here.

EXT. WAREHOUSE - MORNING

An establishing shot of a decrepit warehouse in the middleof nowhere. The peeling paint of the warehouse suggests itsdefinitely seen better days. The rotting wood that boardsthe broken windows indicates it hasnt been used in quite a

while either.

INT. WAREHOUSE- MORNING

Inside the dank, gloomy warehouse, a solitary illuminationpanel FLICKERS intermittently, providing some light.

MAN (O.S.)You sure know how to pick them.

PULLBACK to reveal four human-looking men dressed in afuturistic version of street clothes- all casual shirts andpants. All have a deep, yellow skin complexion. These menare YORLUNDS.

The closest person to the first man, MAN #2, gives him a

withering look.

MAN(nervously looks around)

Well, whats taking them so long?

FIFFT! A black and crimson robed figure appears stalkingout of the darkness.

He removes his hood to reveal an attractive, brown hairedman in his early thirties. He seems to ooze a mix ofdangerous charisma, confidence and a menacing ruthlessness.

ROBED FIGURE

My apologies. I lost track of thetime.

MANWeve been waiting here for solarhours, Rushkos.

RUSHKOSThat you will be richly rewardedfor, in all due time.

(beat)Can I see it?

Man # 2 glances to another man in his crew, who HEFTS up aheavy brown case.

Man #2 opens the locks to the case revealing a two footlong, weathered cylindrical column.

Its filled with a viscous crimson red liquid. There areancient, almost faded alien symbols etched over itssurface.

Rushkos appreciatively runs his hand over it as he takesthe column from the case and examines the ancient etchings.

RUSHKOS (CONTD)Ahh, youve done well. Rahab thefourth acolyte, is notoriouslydifficult to find.

He seems entranced by the crimson red liquid inside thecolumn until-

MANOur payment?

Rushkos looks up, annoyed at the interruption.

RUSHKOSI do appreciate the effort takento secure Rahab. However, yourservices are no longer needed.

At this, FIFFT! Six other black and crimson robed peopleinstantly appear from the darkness. They easily surroundthe hapless yorlund mercenaries.

MAN # 2But we retrieved what you asked!

RUSHKOS(turns to leave)

Exactly. Youve served yourpurpose and for that Ill beeternally grateful.

(beat; nods to theothers)

As the brena will be, for yourgenerous sustenance.

Rushkos leaves.

We STAY ON the four yorlunds, as they fearfully aim theirguns at the six robed figures who step menacingly closer.

The six throw off their hoods to reveal hungry men withmalevolent, red eyes. A tattoo of a heart surrounded bythorns on each of their foreheads.

JUMP CUT TO:

Rushkos, who continues casually walking, the unusualcolumn, reverently CLASPED in his palms. There are offscreen sounds of panicked pulse fire and loud, agonizedscreams of fear and pain.

A slim, attractive robed woman walks toward Rushkos.

WOMAN(bows her head)

One of our contacts has succeededin locating, both Dumah and thefool, who tried to double crossus.

Over Rushkos shoulder we see the six robed persons are nowbent over, on their knees, resembling a rabble-like pack inthe midst of a frenzied feeding. With the requisiteanimalistic growls and hisses as they feast. Their robeslargely spattered with white blood.

BACK ON Rushkos who hands the red filled column carefully

over to the woman as she passes him a thick file.

FADE IN:

EXT. ISA MAIN BASE - NIGHT

An establishing shot of the base. A typically vivid sunsetstreaks the sky above.

FOCUS ON one particular white, domed tent.

INT. ISA TENT - NEXT

PRESTON and SARA sit together on the bed. Prestons armdraped over her back holding her in a relaxed embrace. Hishead rests against her shoulder listening intently.

SARASo thats basically my progresssince we last spoke.

PRESTONBack up I want to hear more aboutall this haikeri business.

(beat; wary)You quickly glossed over it.

Sara goes to roll up her sleeve but Preston places his handgently to stop her.

PRESTON (CONTD)Ive already seen it. I need youto tell me what it means.

SARAWell, basically its a respectedposition that a non-feratu personcan be given in feratu society.Im like....an advisor, really.

PRESTON

Thats all? There isnt a catchor something else youre nottelling me?

Hes concerned but theres a level of authority mixed withsuspicion that tinges his tone.

SARATrust me. Im getting closer touncovering who could be involvedin the disappearances.

Look I dont want a repeat ofwhat happened last year.

Saras mood darkens instantly at Prestons mention of this.She abruptly pulls out of his embrace. Her back to him asher face turns away.

We STAY ON a haunted Sara who looks close to tears at somedredged up memory.

PRESTON (O.S.) (CONTD)(gently)

I couldnt handle it if somethinghappened to you.

BACK ON Preston who looks guilty. He pulls Sara in for ahug and she doesnt resist, relaxing into it.

PRESTON (CONTD)I dont enjoy reminding you butit needed to be said.

Sara stays silent, her head almost absently resting againstPrestons shoulder. He leans in for a kiss but she breaksout of the embrace and shuffles off the bed.

SARAIm tired.

A confused Preston watches as she walks out of his tentinto the night.

EXT. THE GOLDEN BOAR - TA VERION

An ancient tavern thats in relatively good up keep,

considering, comes into view.

TITLE OVER: THE GOLDEN BOAR

Laughter, cheers, music and the sounds of rousing, raucous

almost drunken singing drifts from its doors.

INT. THE GOLDEN BOAR - TA VERION

A large, old fashioned tavern packed full with customers.

Round wooden tables are crowded around by groups ofchatting people.

Trophies of stuffed tusked pigs and wood cuttings of scenes

of hunting and battle decorate the stone walls.

A man stands in front of a blocky, brightly colouredflashing device. He presses a button and heavy rock-like,alien music BLASTS out. To the cheers of his comrades at anearby table.

Women carry trays of pitchers to the many tables.

We follow one particular woman, a pretty brunette in herlate twenties as she carries a tray of empty plates andmugs.

Shes aware but not bothered by some of the more lecherousstares of the more drunken customers. This is LETTYBRADSHAW.

She finally makes her way across the crowded tavern to abusy counter. Despite its impressive length itsovercrowded with people.

She SLIDES the tray into a metal flapped slot beforeturning to face the busy counter. Letty smiles as she spotssomeone off screen.

REVERSE ANGLE shows Dbronze and Trey sitting at thecounter, each holding a large mug of amber liquid.

LETTYDbronze! Ive missed seeing youfor the last monen. You haventbeen seeing other taverns, haveyou?

Dbronze smiles warmly at her.

DBRONZE

Id never do that. Got yanked toborder detail without warnin.

(off Trey)Nice to finally meet you. Whichone are-

TREYIm Trey. So whats he been

sayin bout me?

LETTY(laughs)

All good things. Dont worryabout that.

(beat; glances offscreen)

Dbronze see that blonde byherself near the music player.

Dbronze goes to turn but Letty whacks his arm.

LETTY (CONTD)Dont look! Ive put a good wordin for you. Its all up to younow.

Dbronze looks uncertain before he chugs his ale down inone gulp.

DBRONZELo Mokol.

(breathes deep)Here I go.

He leaves. Trey gives Letty a this aint going to endwell look.

LETTY(chuckles)

Hes not that bad.

Trey raises his eyebrow with a come on expression.

LETTY (CONTD)Second thought, Ill go get you

something stronger to drink.

Letty disappears amongst the bustling chaos of the counter.

MAN (O.S.)Trey Mazakelli, long time no see.

Treys expression sours as he turns to the direction of thevoice. Its Ezekial with Tomsky closely following behind.They give him a devilish smile.

EXT. AURELIUS ROYAL PALACE - GARDENS

Tazul feints to the left as a wooden staff comes intoframe. It misses her by an inch. Shes dressed in a simplewhite singlet and pants.

TAZULThat wasnt even close.

We PULLBACK to reveal her opponent is Selene clad in ablack singlet and pants.

Tazul gracefully twirls her staff and goes to trip Seleneslegs out from under her but she jumps and FLIPS, landingbehind Tazul.

Selenes about to hit out at Tazuls back when her staff isquickly met by Tazuls.

TAZUL (CONTD)Now I know youre just letting meoff easy. Any other time Id beeating dirt, right about now.

(beat; off Selene)Whats on your mind?

Selene HITS out at Tazul. She manages to block it at thelast second, her staff vibrating from the force.

SELENEWhy didnt you tell me Sara was

your new haikeri?

Tazul pushes her staff up and off Selenes staff beforelashing out at Selenes mid section.

TAZULWhy didnt you tell me the sieto,Dimitri contacted you?

Selene BLURS easily avoiding Tazuls attempt.

SELENE

At least you didnt have to findout second hand.

Selene stops sparring, leaning against her staff.

TAZULThats not what I-

An angry Selene immediately BLURS off, the staff clunkingon the ground.

TAZUL (CONTD)(sighs)

Dbronze sits at a table chatting to a stunning blondewoman in her thirties. She looks only half-interested inDbronze as her eyes still roam the tavern.

DBRONZESo there we were, me and Tazulsurrounded by as many rakesh astha eye could see. Somehow in thafall wed stumbled upon a n-

BLONDE WOMAN(bored)

DBRONZEChief Captain, actually.

BLONDE WOMAN(rolls her eyes)

FOCUS ON Trey at the counter where Ezekial and Tomsky flankeither side of him.

(off Treys look)Business acquaintance.

EZEKIALYou know why were here. He justwants it back, no stringsattached.

TREYI dont have it anymore. Got abetter offer.

(smiles)Tell Rushkos he can go fresshimself.

EZEKIALHe thought you might say that.

Tomsky places five images on the table.

ANGLE ON the images reveal that theyre surveillance typeimages of his family- his mother and four younger brothers-Tvolt, Gregory, Mabius and Morgan. All taken unaware atwork and at home.

TREY(sighs)

Fine. Ya got me ya fressin

thabockas. When do you need itby?


Selene still in her sparring clothes sits on a large stonestep. Theres an impressive aurelius stone fountain thatsprays water nearby.

She smokes away on a chaatu stick in deep thought. A shadow

falls across her as someone approaches but she feignsignorance.

Tazuls expression softens at Selenes tone, a mixture ofhurt, anger and frustration.

Selene doesnt respond as she sullenly stares out, smokingher chaatu stick for a tension-filled beat.

SELENE(hmmph)

Shes always monopolising yourtime.

TAZULShes going to return to her homeeventually. Whether that be a fewsolar days or monens away. Its atemporary arrangement at best.

Tazul pulls out two maroon and gold thick bracelets, alien

symbols etched on it.

Tazul slides her bracelet onto her left wrist.

She cocks her left wrist suddenly and SHINK! A tiny blackdart buries itself in the neck of the aurelius stonefountain.

TAZUL (CONTD)Poisoned dart. On contact themolten dwalt core bursts. Brunomade it to my uniquespecifications.

Selene slides her bracelet on and stands.

SELENECapacity?

TAZULA maximum of twenty four. Goodfor a range to 2,000 mescas.

Selene cocks her wrist eliciting a dart that HITS thestatue in the eye- far higher than Tazuls previous shot.

TAZUL (CONTD)Is that a challenge?

SELENE(half-smiles)

Maybe. Think you can do better?


We return to Dbronze and the blonde woman at the table.

BLONDE WOMANYoure really sweet but Imlooking for someone whos notso...boring.

DBRONZE(awkward)

Well, ahh, Ill leave ya to-alone with ya drink then.

He gets up from the table and walks towards the musicplayer. His face flickers with embarrassment and hurt for a

a brief second.

As he walks to the music player- he passes a table full ofexceptionally pale, extremely muscled skin heads. These areARCADIANS. They give him a collective glare but he doesntseem to notice.

Dbronze presses a button and an alien version of a sappy,love ballad full of sadness and angst blasts out.

He nods along to it for a beat, his eyes closed.

ARCADIAN (O.S.)Ai, turn that drez off!

Dbronzes eyes SNAP open and an arcadian in his latetwenties is at the music player. He goes to change the songbut Dbronze grabs his arm.

DBRONZEIm listenin to that ya arcadiandrez kicker!

The man roughly pulls out of Dbronzes grip.

ARCADIANNot any-

THWACK! Dbronze grabs the man and brutally SMASHES hishead repeatedly against the music player. Blood STREAKS thebrightly coloured screen as the man slides down, beateninto unconsciousness.

CRACK! Dbronze reels as a stool smashes against the backof his head.

He turns, catching a glimpse of the mans friends. Andtheyre pissed off.

INT. THE GOLDEN BOAR - COUNTER

Trey is in the midst of an intense conversation with

Ezekial and Tomsky.

TREYI fressin got it, alright?

He looks up distracted at the sounds of fighting. TreysPOV shows Dbronze fighting off the five arcadians in agood, old fashioned bar brawl.

Trey turns to say something to Ezekial and Tomsky buttheyre no where to be seen amongst the bustle of thetavern.

Dbronze viciously ELBOWS one man in the face, his headsnapping back with a sickening crack.

Two men tackle and hold a struggling Dbronze on the groundas another two jump into the fray, now taking turns to

punch Dbronze in the stomach.

A hand comes into frame, painfully SLAMMING these two intoeach other, stunning them. They slump to the ground, toreveal Trey.

He vindictively kicks them on the ground repeatedly.

TREY (CONTD)Never start a fight with a bousa,we never travel alone and-

Dbronze viciously head butts one of the arcadians holdinghim and CRACKS the other with a solid back hand to theface.

DBRONZEYall always get tha fressindrez kicked out of ya every time.

Trey extends his hand to Dbronze but he shrugs off theassistance, getting to his feet unsteadily.

A SLOW PAN around the two, reveals the area around them isa complete mess.

The closest few tables and chairs are entirely trashed, themusic players screen is cracked and blood smeared and allthe six arcadians lay sprawled out, beaten and bloody.

Tan shirt law enforcement officers attempt to make theirway across in the crowded tavern.

TREY(off tan shirts)

So...strip club?

FADE IN:

EXT. HUB TOWN - TA VERION

A more seedier part of the city. All of the establishmentshere have a multitude of flashing signs. This is TaVerions red light district.

Dbronze and Trey STUMBLE out from a building with aflashing sign of a brightly coloured female that smilesseductively before flashing her breasts.

Dbronze is vastly more unsteady on his feet than Trey.

DBRONZE(slurred)

Ive still got three places tasshow ya.

TREY(chuckles)

Ya got plenty a time ta show meall of Ta Verions pleasurespots. I aint goin anywhere,anytime soon.

(beat)I gotta do somethin now so

(off Dbronze)Home or-?

DBRONZE(slurred)

The palace.(off Trey)

Not tha flesh palace.Tazuls....ya know her place.

INT. AURELIUS PALACE - TAZULS BEDROOM

Tazul watches as Selene THROWS a dagger at an image of apompous looking man in his forties, dressed in the strikingrobes of a senator.

THUNK! It lands in the mans forehead. Selene raises hereyebrow with an I win smirk as the previous dagger isburied in his mouth.

TAZULAah, but my shots worth morepoints. Itd be more entertainingif he became mute.

Selenes about to retort when-

BAM! Trey bursts in with a passed out Dbronze slung overhis shoulders.

SELENEWhat fressing happened?

TREYMe and Dbronze went down to Hubtown and he mighta had too muchale.

Selene and Tazul give Trey a sceptical expression that saysand what else?.

TREY (CONTD)And ahh, there might be some tanshirts lookin for us after a

little incident at the GoldenBoar.

SELENE(rolls her eyes)

Not again.

Trey dumps Dbronze on Tazuls four poster bed. He looksanxious to leave.

TAZULWhere do you think youre runningoff to?

TREYIve got an appointment I need takeep.

Tazuls nose crinkles as she gets a strong whiff ofsomething unpleasant.

TAZULAt least help him out of theseclothes first.

EXT. MANSION - TA VERION

An establishing shot of a stately multi-levelled stonehouse with an equally imposing thick stone wall thatsurrounds it.

We PUSH IN through the bars of the intimidatingly highmetal gates to enter the neatly manicured grounds. Twoguards dressed in blue uniforms are on patrol.

EXT. MANSION - TA VERION

The far side of the grounds as someone dressed all in blacknimbly LANDS after jumping the wall here.

CLOSE UP reveals its Trey who slips on a black balaclava,with holes cut out for his eyes.

Theres a black backpack tightly strapped to his back fromwhich he quickly pulls out a pair of goggles and slidesthem over.

He looks down at his waist and we ANGLE ON a black beltwith a silver metal panel, that flashes every few seconds.Trey pushes in a sequence-

BZZT! He disappears completely from sight.

We see from Treys POV as he stealthily creeps through themansions grounds.

A deep green stemmed bush with bright blue leaves LOOMS upas Trey hides from sight.

ZILM! Everything tints green and we see the fine, innernetworks of the bush as everything goes into x-ray detail.

We see a guard, his heart visible and tinted green, beatingand pumping blood steadily as he walks near the bush.

ANGLE ON a green tinted, skeletal hand as FIFT! A dartshoots out, the inner fluid compartments seen as it SOARSthrough the air.

It HITS the guard. The dart can be seen in x-ray detail,injecting some fluid into the mans vein as it impacts. Theguard dropping out of sight.

ZILM! Everything returns to the previous view of the vividdeep green stemmed bush with its brightly blue leaves.

The bush and grounds seem to BLUR as Trey sprints. We see

the prone guard on the ground just before a smooth slategrey wall that comes into sight.

His right hand comes into shot briefly as SHINK! Afuturistic-looking, grapple hook SHOOTS up and into theroof.

TILT UP as a hand tugs on a thin cord before it clicks intoa black belt.

ZZZ! The wall and glass panels of the various levels of themansion WHIZZ past extremely, disorientatingly fast.

Everything JOLTS as we come to a stop at a clear glasspanel.

CLOSE UP on the panel reveals a black and white tiledfloor, a stone pedestal in the center of the room. A two

foot glass cylinder with thick crimson liquid held atopthis.

A silver box comes into view pressed against the glass.With a faint THWUMP, the box vibrates and a large circle ofglass is silently pulled away.

ZZZ! We TILT UP on the grappling hook as it retracts fromthe roof and towards Trey.

Black and white marble LOOMS right up as if its just aboutto hit before the view changes quickly to that of the room

upside down.

It changes again to the black and white marble, the roomand then the floor again.

Before FWIPP! The pale yellow stone pedestal comes intoaight.

CLOSE UP on the two foot glass cylinder reveals ancient,almost faded arcane symbols. Two metal hands each witheight claws hold the cylinder tightly within the stonepedestal.

We ANGLE ON a black bracelet on Treys wrist. A panelslides open at which he pushes in a sequence. Lines andlines of alien symbols ROLL across the screen before-

HISSS! The eight claws slowly open. Treys hands come intoshot again as he carefully pulls the cylinder free.

END OF TREYS POV as he expertly slides the cylinder intohis black backpack.

As he eyes the smooth hole in the glass panel that he camethrough before.

INT. PRESTONS TENT - MORNING

Innumerable stone shelves stocked with ancient scrolls,dusty leather bound tomes and even stone tablets stretch asfar as can be seen.

In the forefront, the shelves here are cluttered by morerecent additions judging by the vibrant coverings of thevolumes.

FOCUS ON a wizened old man, the records keeper, whowhistles as he places a particularly thick tome on a highshelf.

We STAY ON him as he descends the ladder. He steps off thelast rung and turns to face Ezekial.

The old man STARTLES as Tomsky appears from the shadows.

Ezekial rips out a clump of pages from the book and shovesit within his coat. He throws the codex at Tomsky whoeasily catches it with a grin.

They share a significant look before Tomsky runs off again.Ezekial grabs the records keeper by the scruff of his neck.

Trey and Dbronze carefully search this particular stretchof the records hall. This area is cluttered with dusty,rarely used scrolls and books.

Dbronze gestures to his ear suddenly.

DBRONZE (V.O.)Someones coming this way. Illtackle, ya bash.

Trey nods as they quickly hide themselves out of sight.Dbronze ducks behind a counter whilst Trey crouches behinda shelf.

Tomsky walks into view. As he passes Dbronzes hidingspot, Dbronze JUMPS out to tackle him.

Tomsky instinctively jumps out of reach, gracefully flipsin midair and lands on the counter. Dbronze SLAMS into theshelf as he misses, dazing himself.

Trey bursts out of his spot behind the shelf rushing Tomskyfrom behind. Both tumble over the counter, grappling andwrestling.

A recovered Dbronze gets to his feet and pulls out a pairof thick metal cuffs.

Everything enters SLOW MOTION as Ezekial reaches the hall.He turns around with a malevolent smile and a daggerMATERIALIZES in his hand.

He ruthlessly plunges the dagger into the old mansstomach, tossing him effortlessly aside like a rag doll.

We return to normal time as Ezekial sprints off. Tazulrushes to the record keepers side, already ripping hershirt and trying to STAUNCH the wound.

Two white uniformed women, wearing armbands with bluecrescents, MEDICS, carry out the records keeper on astretcher. Tazul follows them to the hall.

MEDIC 1Hes stabilised. But we reallyneed to transport him to themedical center.

Tazul anxiously watches them as they disappear down thehall with the stretcher. A tan shirted officer in hisforties approaches and taps her on the shoulder.

He opens the door and CRACK! He reels back from a hardpunch to the face, stumbling.

Dbronze storms in, roughly hauling Trey up against thewall.

Dark, arterial blood drips down the channels of the seal

flowing into the center.

Rushkos smiles at the assembled brethren his mouth andcheek spattered with blood.

After Rushkos lead, the four other initiates grab theirsacrificial victims, about to bite-

We STAY ON Rushkos as we hear muffled shouts of pain.

Rushkos glances at the seal, all five sacrifices now lie oneach point of the pentagram. The seal starting to glow a

faint red as their life blood drips down the seal.

Trey still trussed up looks to Dbronze expectantly,awaiting a response.

Rushkos sits in the center of the seal. Its a deepbaptismal font, thats now half full of blood. His robesand legs soaking up the sacrificial blood.

Five robed blood reapers each pull a lever on each of theslots above the spinnareks. Viscous, dark blood from thecylinders snake down to the seal.

RUSHKOS(slowly)

The pentagram on the seal glows a brighter red.

At this, the pentagram symbol GLOWS even brighter, toblindingly painful levels.

The bright red light DISSIPATES after a beat.

The blood in the center basin starts to BUBBLE. Rushkos andeveryone in attendance watches this intently.

FOCUS ON Rushkos awe filled expression before we PULLBACKto reveal a crimson masculine figure that starts to slowlycoalesce into existence from the blood.

FADE IN:

EXT. BLOOD REAPER TEMPLE

Five hundred aurelius soldiers in pale yellow uniformssurround the entrance. They seem to be waiting for a signalfrom someone.


Back to the ritual where every pair of eyes in the room ison the bloody creature that seems to be taking in thesurroundings with an ever increasing sentience.

BAM! Three robed figures start FIRING pulse pistols attheir surrounding brethren. Not expecting this at all, theclosest blood reapers slump as theyre hit.

Trey SNAPS into action throwing an unexpected vicious righthook that lays out Succutha easily.

The hoods slip off the three hostile initiates to revealDbronze, Selene and Tazul.

TAZUL (V.O.)Now!

EXT. BLOOD REAPER TEMPLE

The soldiers STORM the temples entrance.


The soldiers rush down the hall, as they ruthlessly BLASTaway at any blood reapers in sight.


The throngs of cult members exploit their far greaternumbers to stall the four from interrupting the ritual.

Trey ducks a vicious JAB to the face from an enragedDronnic. Hes faster than Dronnic and he knows it- tauntinghim as he WEAVES and ducks each and every blow.

Tazul SWINGS her sword gracefully, mercilessly cutting downany blood reaper in her path.

She decapitates one, thrusts her blade deep into the chestof one and slices open another as she gradually makes herway through the crowd.

Selene expertly SNAPS the neck of any blood reapers foolishenough to swarm her.

Dbronze GRABS a blood reaper and hurls him bodily into agroup of charging initiates. The group BOWLED over quiteliterally, all of them knocked off their feet.

The aurelius soldiers RUSH onto scene throwing themselvesinto the action.

PAN across the battling forces to rest on the seal wherethe crimson entity, a BLOOD GUARDIAN, mutters something inan incomprehensible, ancient tongue.

Rushkos seems to understand it as he rises.

ANGLE ON the long red claws that extend from its extremelyelongated fingers.

SHINK! Rushkos grunts in pain as the entity impales itsclaws deep into his chest.

His body convulses as the entitys form seems to quicklyDISSIPATE its essense crawling into Rushkos and underneathhis skin.

Rushkos clutches at his chest painfully before his bodyviolently seizes and spasms erratically on the ground.

He STOPS his body going very still.


Trey continues to taunt Dronnic who lashes out with abrutal KICK to Treys mid section. Trey stumbles from theimpact but regains his footing quickly.

TREYFace it, Im just better than ya.Must burn ya up inside thatRushkos didnt listen to ya boutme.

Dronnic clutches at his throat. Theres a metallic dartembedded there. His eyes roll back in shock, gurgling andspluttering before he SLUMPS to reveal Selene.

SELENEThis isnt some fressing sparmatch for your amusement. Werehere to eliminate a dangerouscult. More killing less taunting.

She disappears amongst the chaos before Trey can retort.

Dbronze viciously BASHES a blood reaper against the stonefloor over and over again, until his beaten body goes limp.

Tazul cleanly decapitates another initiate, blood SPRAYINGthe area. Shes finally made her way through the crowd inher section.

Tazul eyes the prone Rushkos a few feet away.


PAN across the crazy melee of pale yellow uniformedsoldiers and black and crimson robed cult members as theyscrap.

Selene effortlessly takes on four blood reapers at a time,easily blurring to avoid their attacks. She smoothly KICKSout, catching one in the face then slits the throat ofanother with a dagger, snaps the neck of one and guts thelast with her other dagger.

CRACK! Selene stumbles from a blow to the head.

NEW ANGLE reveals Ezekial who smirks.

JUMP TO Tazul as she runs up and agilely FLIPS up and overthe seal to where Rushkos lies.

ANGLE ON Rushkos face as his eyes instantly SNAP OPEN,blood red.

He RISES to his feet, in stereotypical Dracula fashion, as

if an invisible force is yanking him up rather than usinghis feet.

Tazul doesnt waste any time charging in and SWINGING hersword at Rushkos.

Rushkos instinctively DUCKS the blades arc a first andthen a second time, and another as Tazul comes at him at afurious pace.

Rushkos shouts in pain as she SLICES off his right hand.

SWITCH FOCUS to Ezekial as he throws a hard JAB to Selenesface but she shrugs it off.

EZEKIALDo you really think you can stopover two centuries of planning?

Selene blurs, runs up the wall and lands behind Ezekial.

She sweeps his legs out from underneath him.

SELENEI always like a challenge.

BACK TO Tazul as she presses her advantage, coming atRushkos at an even more lightning quick pace.

The blade BLURRING as she elegantly turns and swings it ina complicated pattern of arcs. The blades movement flowingas if its an extension of her own hand.

Rushkos stumbles, losing his footing as he attempts toavoid Tazuls sword. SHINK! The sword slices into Rushkosneck DECAPITATING him.

SLOW MOTION as his body falls to the ground, his headsliding away whilst blood SPRAYS.

However, the blood spilling out from the wounds, his neckand wrist TUG back at the severed hand and head.

The wrist and head seamlessly, fluidly reattaching as theblood flows back into Rushkos body, the flesh knittingback together!

Return to normal time as Rushkos CRACKS his neck to theside, rolling his shoulders with a malevolent smile.

Tazul has a classic, what the hell expression, stunned atthe turn of events.

Rushkos narrows his blood red eyes and Tazuls HURLEDbodily by an invisible force into a stone wall.

Shes viciously SLAMMED into the wall three times.

Tazul slides down bloodied and unconscious. The woundshealing instantaneously as she lands with a thump on theground, her sword CLANGING as we:


Dbronze as he roughly throws three men off him. He PLOUGHSthrough the robed figures that try to swarm him with theirsuperior numbers.

FOCUS ON Ezekial as he jumps to his feet, ready for anotherround. He goes to throw a brutal uppercut to a nowdistracted Selene, concerned with something off screen.

She snaps Ezekials arm and twists it backwards with a

sickening CRACK, without breaking a sweat.

Ezekial GROANS as Selene presses down on his now brokenarm.

In a BLUR, she slides out one of her daggers and smoothlySLITS Ezekials throat. Before disappearing in a BLINK.

Ezekial clutches as his throat futilely, blood spraying ashe sinks to the floor.


Rushkos STALKS over to the unconscious Tazul a wicked,leering expression on his face. He gestures towards him andTazuls prone body is tugged upwards and over to him.

He grabs her shoulders and pulls her close, his fangsextended, about to take a bite ....

SMACK! Dbronze bashes a pulse cannon against the back ofRushkos head.

Rushkos drops the prone Tazul and WHIRLS on Dbronze.

Selene BLURS over and swings Tazuls arm over her shoulderbefore whisking Tazul out of harms way.

Rushkos effortlessly dodges Dbronzes brutal blows.

CRACK! Tired of playing, Rushkos hits back with a soliduppercut that sends Dbronze reeling.

He follows up with a vicious KICK that drops Dbronze.


Were in a deserted part of the temple, the sounds of thebattle drifting here.

FOCUS ON Selene who watches the still prone Tazul for abeat. She gently moves a folded up jacket under Tazulshead.

Rushkos stalks over about to finish Dbronze when BAM! Treytackles him bodily.

TREYDont go messin with aMazakelli.

He starts PUMMELLING Rushkos.

TREY (CONTD)Ya wont live to regret it.

SWITCH FOCUS to Succutha who coughs as she stirs.

Her eyes WIDEN as she takes in the chaos. Aurelius soldiers

furiously battling with the robed brethren.

She quickly gets to her feet and rushes off.

BACK ON Trey as he continues to pummel Rushkos despite thefact that he seems unhurt or simply unaffected by the blowsrained down upon him.

SNAP! Rushkos catches Treys arm and uses it to spin Treybodily before releasing him.

Trey SAILS through the air and smack right into Dbronze ashes picking himself up.

Rushkos stalks over but a slender female arm comes intoview, stopping him. We TRACK UP the arm to reveal itsSuccutha.

SUCCUTHACome here, bembeino.

She pulls Rushkos in for a passionate kiss.


Selene BLURS through the melee reaching Dbronze and Trey.

Both untangling themselves and shaking their heads to clearthem.

They glare at Rushkos whos currently locked in apassionate, intimate embrace with Succutha. They look justabout to rush in and throw themselves into it again.

SUCCUTHAYouve finally succeeded.

His blood red eyes seem to glaze over and he TOSSES herroughly to the ground.

He drops to his knees, clutching his head painfully.

Succutha gets to her feet and warily approaches as Rushkosseems to convulse.

SUCCUTHA (CONTD)(concerned)

Rushkos?

His head SNAPS up with a malevolent, evil grin and helunges at Succutha, pulling her to him. She painfully gaspsas his fangs sink deep into her neck.


We return to Dbronze, Selene and Trey as they regroup.

SELENEWe need something that willsolidify Rushkos somehow so hecant pull that same trick hepulled with Tazul.

TREYHow bout freezing?

He pulls out a magazine from within his robes. It containsclear bullets, a white liquid can be seen inside.

TREY (CONTD)High quality icitrite roundsstraight off tha black market. Inever leave home without em.

Rushkos hungrily feeds on Succutha for a long beat despiteher violent struggling. Her struggles die down as she goeslimp in his arms.

He drops her to the ground as he clutches his headpainfully again.

He CONVULSES and Rushkos seems to come back to his senses,his mouth and chin now smeared with Succuthas blood.

Rushkos spots her sprawled out on the floor beside him. Heseems confused and disorientated until he recognizes thetaste of blood in his mouth.

His face registers with horror at the realization of whatshappened. He rushes over to her side in an instant.

RUSHKOS(gently)

Succutha come on.

He shakes her gently trying to rouse her. He bites hiswrist, the blood dripping as he quickly presses it to herlips. She doesnt respond.

RUSHKOS (CONTD)(desperate)

Drink.

He opens her mouth and lets the blood drops fall on hertongue. She seems unresponsive- the blood not seeming tohave an effect. Its too late.

Tears slowly roll down his face.

RUSHKOS (CONTD)Please. I cant do this withoutyou.

He holds her body close to his, rocking her gently. Hummingsoftly to her as if she were asleep.

He stops as he hears the sounds of boots approaching.

DBRONZE(almost sympathetic)

Thats the thing about these darkrituals ta fallen ardens, yanever know what theyre goin toreally cost.

Rushkos gently places Succuthas body down. With an enragedSNARL he leaps at Selene who blurs out of reach.

Dbronze and Trey both go to grab Rushkos who easily SHRUGSoff their attempts and slams them together.

BAP! Selene lets off a barrage of bullets.

MACRO BULLET SHOT:

Six bullets ROAR across to Rushkos, he bends and WEAVES,exceptionally fast. Very matrix-like in his ability.

Selene smirks as she BLURS over in an instant. The pistolplaced against his head.

SELENEDodge this.

She shoots him four times in the head. Misty, white vapourstreams from the gun.

Rushkos jerks as the bullets IMPACT his head. The bulletwounds healing themselves, almost instantly.

He stumbles, clutching his head, painfully. Frost starts toinch across his face but his body ruthlessly fights it offfor an extended beat.

Dbronze and Trey grab him, holding him as he convulses.

His head finally succumbs to the icitrite, SOLIDIFYING and

freezing solid.

Dbronze nods to Trey.

DBRONZEIll let ya have the honours.

SMASH! Trey cracks Rushkos in the face. It SHATTERS fromthe impact. Shards of frozen flesh, blood and bonespattering the ground.
