Jailed at the Youth World?

Team Texas interpreted the 2013 Youth World theme of “Be Somebody’s Superhero” as “Thank You First Responders” and decorated accordingly,

earning a 4th Place finish in the stall decorating contest. Our decorations were wonderful, but one

stood out and became extremely popular…

TQHyA Race Experience

The TQHyA Race Experience was held on July 25 and 26 in San

Antonio. TQHyA members Shiloh Morales, Claire Hohertz and Ali Fratessa assisted with the TQHA Yearling Sale during the day and attended races in Retama Park in the evenings.

Giving youth their first rides on the backs of American Quarter Horses

Members also assisted at the Best of the Remuda Sale at the Forth Worth Stock Show.

TQHyA members helped run a Stock Horse of Texas Association show.

Ali Fratessa was elected to a Region 8 Director position.

2014 AQHA Youth World Cup

The 2014 Youth World Cup was held in College Station, Texas. Team Texas was represented by Ali Fratessa and Chloe Bening. Other members of Team USA included Jack Meadows, Carli Pitts, Graysen Stroud, Colby Ringer, Bailey Cook, Mary Claire Cornett, Lindsey Brush and Kalee McCann.
