My Texas Flag

My flag is the Texas flag. It is a rectangle. It has a fat white stripe at the top and a red fat stripe at the bottom. On the side is a blue stripe up and down with a white star in the middle.

Texas Tree

The Texas tree is called the pecan tree. It has lots of pecans on it.

The Great State Flower of Texas

The flower of Texas is called the Blue Bonnet. It is blue and lots of insects live in them.

Texas Animal

The Texas animal is the armadillo. They have a hard shell to protect themselves.

Texas Plant

The state plant of Texas is the prickly pear cactus. It has lots of thorns on it. Also lots of animals live in it.
