TheLundsTestBenchisamodulardesignbasedonthestandard19inchRackSystemwidelyusedwithintheElectronicsandAerospace industries.TheBenchesareeitherabaseseconwithaplainworktoporabaseseconwithworktopandtopboxes.Weoerbothtypesinasinglebaytoafivebayconfiguraonandotherconfiguraonscanbemanufacturedtoorder.Base dimensions, per Bay are 583 mmWide X 720mm High X 900 mm Deep and canaccommodate15UPanels.Topdimensions,perBayare583mmWideX987mmHighX305mmDeepandcanaccommodate21UPanels.AllMounng Rails are plated and useM6 Cage Nut fixings and Front and Rear rails aresuppliedas standardalongwith central MounngRails in theBaseSecons.AllMounngRailscanbemovedbackwardsorforwardsin20mmincrements.On each Base Assembly Louvered LiO Side Panels and Louvered PivotHinged RearDoors are supplied as standard.On the Top Boxes Louvered Rear PivotHingedDoors aresuppliedandthefrontfaceistrimmedwithaSanFinishAluminiumfacing.AllPivotHingedDoors can be removed for easy access. Front doors are an opon (see page 14) andalternavedoorscanbemanufacturedwithPerspexFrontPanelsonrequest.EarthBondingishandledby4oM5StudsinthebaseofeachBayand2oM5StudsinthebaseofeachTopBox.All removablepanelshaveanM5Studadjacent tooneof themainearthingpointsforeasybonding.Cableentrytotheunitsisbytheaccesscutoutsinthebase.

TheWorktop ismanufactured fromMDFand facedwithFormica (Beech8007).Theedgesare trimmedwithhardwoodwith a rolled edge to the front and varnished tomatch theFormica.CableAccessholesareprecutintotheWorktopwhenTopBoxesarefiedtoallowcablerunstopassthrough.Theframesareafullyweldedconstruconusing2mmthickmildsteelsheetthatoeranextremelyrigidandstrongstructure.FourSwivelandBrakeCastorsarefiedoneachcornerandaddionalSwivelCastorsareusedtosupportthestructure.Thecolourschemeistocustomerpreference,theunitsasshownarepaintedinBAeSystemsstandard colour scheme of RAFBlue /Grey and MistGrey. Theseunits are painted inhouseusingafinetexturepaintforaddeddurability.Lund'sareISO9001approvedandallourproductsareRoHS&WEEEcompliant.CerficateofConformiescanbeobtained,onrequest.

Our Standard Single Bay Test Bench with TopUnit has 15U Rack mounngs in the lowersecon and 21U Rack mounngs in the topsecon. It also has removable side panels, ahinged and removable rear panel on both thelower and top secons and a rugged FormicafacedMDF Top.We supply rackmounng railstothefrontandrearofthelowercabinetplusacentral support for heavy 19 equipment. Thetopseconhasonly1setofrailsasthisseconmainlysupports19panels.

The base has earthing studs and a cutout forcable entry. All panels are lockable and keyedthesamethroughout.

The durable Formica faced top has hardwoodlipping'sandcansupporttheheaviestofloads.

All4castorsareswivelandbrakedformovabilityandstability.

Thepaintfinishas shown isRAFBlueGreyandMistGreyfortheremovablepanels.Thisisafinetextured finish that is more durable thanstandard.We can supply this unit in any RALcolourtosuit.
