Teslers’ Time Out Wellington events Fri 17 Aug - Glowworms at the Botanic Gardens This endless rain has an upside. There are heaps of glow worms in the Garden! So come on a guided tour to see them this Friday 17 August at 7.30pm. Meet at the Founders’ entrance (main gates) on Glenmore Street for this fascinating tour into the world of the glow-worm. The tour takes about one hour. Please bring a torch. Adults $5. Sat 18 Aug - The Wellington Pantry Party The Wellington Underground Market expands to bring you an influx of beautiful gourmet food stalls to tempt your tastebuds alongside their fabulous regular market stalls. Sat 18 Aug, 10am - 4pm, Frank Kitts Park. Free to roam, take some cash! Thur 16, Mon 20, Tue 21 Aug - Footnote Forte Dance Series Curiouser and Curiouser...A look at the curiosity of choreography by six New Zealand creative artists – given a space in an unexpected place and an open invitation to make dance on Footnote Dance Company. These works are a result of the belief in Footnote as a ‘safe place to be unsafe’. Thur 16, Mon 20 and Tue 21 Aug, starting a the Boatshed. 7.30pm. $20 - $30. Tickets on the door or through Ticketek . Help Raise Money for the SPCA We want you to dust off your chef’s hat and put your best baking foot forward in support of the SPCA and the animals in their care. Volunteer to bring some baking (cupcakes or biscuits) to our movie night next Friday. All bakers will receive a small thank you prize. We will also be voting on the night for ‘Most Creatively Decorated’ and ‘Most Delicious’ cupcakes. The winners in each of these categories will win a prize!
