Terrassen Camping Ossiacher See is located directly at the idyllic Lake Ossiach, in the heart of Carinthia, the sunshine province. The terraces, hedges, bushes, trees and brooks as well as the beaches, bays and ponds give this terraced campsite with modern equipment the character of a natural park area. Five sanitary facilities (heated, with hot water free of charge, single wash cab-ins, baby changing rooms, washing machines, tumble driers, irons, facilities for the disabled, etc.) are spread throughout the camping area (short distances!). All sites are separated out (80 to 100 sq m) and provided with a connection for power supply. From the terraces you will have wonderful views of Lake Ossiacher See and the surrounding mountains – you can sense the water, feel the lake and experience the mountains!Directly available at the campsite are tennis courts (also with a coach), sport facilities (football, beach volleyball,

badminton, table tennis, streetball), playgrounds and child care service, Riding and riding instruction, 9 kilo-meters, also for children, bathing beaches with water slides, jetties and a marina, a fish pond (rowing boat hire), surfing school, bicycle hire, youth room as well as a large-screen TV and video set in the restaurant. For our active guests we organise sports, music and dance events in line with the motto: GAMES, SPORTS and FUN at Terrassen Camping Ossiacher See. For further supplies you will find a restaurant, supermarket and ATM. Our campsite is open from 1st May until 1st October. 2011: new sanitary building.

RESERVATION CONDITIONS

Due to the size of our campsite there are sufficient lots vacant daily (especially towards the middle of the week), which can also be made available without the reservation of a camping lot. When reserving a camping lot the following reservation conditions apply:1. There is no right to a particular lot. Lots are allocated at the discretion of the campsite management.2. A reserved camping lot will be kept available until 6pm on the

expected day of arrival. If up to this time we do not hear anything from you, we shall be under no further obligation towards you.

3. For lot reservation with arrival days from 15. 7. to 15. 8. you are required to transfer to us (per reserved lot): d 260 as a down payment d 10 service charge d 270 in total

a) The lot reservation shall only be binding if the down payment and the reservation fee have been paid in advance. (Within 14 days after receipt of the reservation confirmation).

The transfer slip or a copy of the payment slip and the reservation confirmation serve as proof of the reservation. You will not receive

any further notification from us.b) The prepaid down payment will, of course, be credited in full to the

camping fees. This will not be refunded in case of premature departure.

c) The service charge will not be credited or refunded.4. Reservations for arrivals in the months of May, June and September

can be made without a down payment and reservation charge.5. A cancellation of your reservation is possible up to 30 days before

ihre Campinggäste„HERZLICH WILLKOMMEN“ verkündet schon die Tafel an der Einfahrt zum Terrassen- Camping am Ossiacher See. Und das ist hier wörtlich zu nehmen. Denn die Familie Martinz und ihre Mitarbeiter sorgen dafür, dass alles passt – „Die Gäste sollen sich wohlfühlen“.

Das Unterhaltungszentrum mit Restaurant, SB-Markt, Kinderspielplatz, Eisdiele und TV-Video-Ecke setzt neue Maßstäbe.

Hier findet also Begegnung statt und wird zu einem wahren Erlebnis.

So hat es begonnenDer Blick zurück führt in das Jahr 1961. „Camping“ war damals in Kärnten noch nicht jedem ein Begriff.

Hans Martinz und sein Partner haben – von vielen vorerst belächelt – jedenfalls den Entschluss für die Errichtung eines Campingplatzes am Ossiacher See gefasst.

Vier Hektar Süduferfläche wurden zu einem Terrassen-Campingplatz umgestaltet. Mittlerweile ist diese natürliche Park- anlage 80.000 Quadratmeter groß.

Bereits damals legte man auf höchste Qualität Wert, weshalb ein sicherlich revolutionäres Sanitärhaus gleich miterrichtet wurde.

1965 erfolgte bereits die erste Vergrößerung und 1982 die Umorganisation in einen Familienbetrieb. Die Errichtung des neuen Unterhaltungszentrums 1992 bildete einen weiteren Meilenstein in der Geschichte des „Terrassen Campings“ der Familie Martinz am Ossiacher See.
