Terms & Conditions FTTH Council Europe Award 2018

1. The FTTH Council Europe is the organiser of the FTTH Council Europe Award 2018 ("FTTH Award"), which is a contest to award outstanding support for the acceleration of FTTH in Europe within the following categories:

· Individual Award

· Operator Award

2. The FTTH Award is open to all. For the Individual Award category, there are no restrictions on nominations. For the Operator Award, only companies that own, operate or deploy a FTTH or FTTB network can be nominated.

3. The deadline for nominations is 30 November 2017. The FTTH Council Europe may decide to accept certain nominations that are submitted after this date.

4. Nominations for the FTTH Award are free of charge; the nominator can nominate an unlimited number of persons/operators. Please click here to nominate: www.ftthconference.eu/ftth-award/nominate-a-candidate

5. The board of directors and the committee chairs of the FTTH Council Europe will review all submissions. The FTTH Council Europe is not obliged to communicate any explanatory statement about the decisions made by the jury.

6. The jury will review the nominations based on criteria that are defined by the FTTH Council Europe. The jury will rank the first three choices for the FTTH Award in each category. In case a winner does not accept the FTTH Award, it will be given to the next choice in the ranking. If all three winners do not accept the FTTH Award, the specific category will not be awarded.

7. The winner of each category will receive an FTTH Award trophy.

8. The winners will be announced at the FTTH Conference 2018 in Valencia (13 - 15 February 2018).

9. The winners will be informed on 20 December 2017 latest and invited to travel to the FTTH Conference in Valencia to receive the FTTH Award.

10. Legal recourse is excluded.
