2 Información general2.1 Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar que el conteni-

do coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la “Lista de embalaje”. Si seobserva algún componente dañado o la ausencia de alguno avisar rápidamen-te al distribuidor.

2.2 No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamente, este manual deinstrucciones.

2.3 Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del aparato y deben estar dispo-nibles a todos los usuarios del equipo

5 Introducción

Los termostatos de bloque metálico Tembloc i Multiplaces están diseñados paratrabajar en un rango de temperatura ambiente +30ºC hasta 200ºC con una estabilidadde ±0.75ºC. Disponen como accesorios de cuatro modelos de bloques intercambiablespara tubos ependorrf 1.5 ml y para tubos de diametros 12 mm, 16 mm y 20 mm,así como un bloque ciego que puede mecanizarse con taladros adaptados a lasnecesidades específicas del usuario. Los Tembloc tienen capacidad para un bloqueredondo mientras que los Multiplaces tienen capacidad para tres bloquesrectangulares.

6 Descripción del equipo

6.1 Equipamiento

Los bloques termostáticis Tembloc y Multiplaces tienen las siguientescaracterísticas:

- Sonda de regulación de temperatura tipo Pt100

- Sonda de limitación de temperatura tipo k

- Resistencia contraplacada de 350W/700W según modelo

7 Instalación

7.1 EMPLAZAMIENTO

Situar el aparato cerca de una toma de corriente adecuado a su consumo sobreuna superficie plana y suficientemente robusta para soportar el peso indicado enla tabla del apartado 3 (Especificaciones técnicas). procurando dejar un espaciolibre de 10 cm. por la parte posterior y por los laterales del equipo.

7.2 CONEXIÓN A LA RED ELECTRICA

Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una tensión de red que coincide con laindicada en la placa de características.

No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.

Si cambia la clavija de conexión tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

Cable azul: Neutro.Cable marrón: Fase.Cable amarillo/verde: Tierra.

NO INSTALAR EL APARATO EN ATMOSFERAS EXPLOSIVAS O EN LUGARES DONDESE USEN O ALMACENEN DISOLVENTES U OTROS PRODUCTOS SUSCEPTIBLES DEFORMAR MEZCLAS EXPLOSIVAS O INFLAMABLES.

8.1.1 CONSIGNA DE UNA TEMPERATURA

Después de realizar lo indicado en el apartado 8.1:

- Con la tecla (5) seleccione led (2) encendido- Pulsar la tecla (4) y, sin dejar de pulsarla, con las

teclas (5) y (6) seleccione la temperatura de consignaque se mostrará en el display (1).

8.1.2 CONSIGNA DE UN TIEMPO

Después de realizar lo indicado en el apartado 8.1:

- Con la tecla (6) seleccione led (3) encendido- Pulsar la tecla (4) y, sin dejar de pulsarla, con las

teclas (5) y (6) seleccione tiempo de consigna que semostrará en el display (1).

8.2 INTRODUCCIÓN DE UNA TEMPERATURA DE CORRECCIÓN

Cuando se realiza una calibración es posible introcucir una temperaturade corrección (offset)

- Pulsar las teclas (5) y (6) simultáneamente durante al menos 5segundos.

- En el display (1) aparecerá la temperatura de offset (entre -9 i +9ºC)

- Mientras el display muestre la temperatura de offset, se puedemodificar este valor mediante las teclas (5) y (6).

- Si durante 5 segundos no se realiza ninguna modificación elmicroprocesador almacena el último valor que se visualiza en pantallay sale automáticamente del menu de ajuste.

8 Funcionamiento

8.1 PUESTA EN MARCHA

- Conectar a la red eléctrica- Colocar el bloque o bloques en el alojamiento con ayuda de la varilla

suministrada.- Accionar el interruptor general (9)

Durante unos segundos el diplay muestra «888» y luego «-A-»Antes de continuar tenga en cuenta que si el led (2) o el led (3)hacen intermitencias significa que el aparato está calentando. Si esel caso, interrumpa el proceso pulsando la tecla (7) Start/Stop yaque de lo contrario no podria modificar la consigna de tiempo ytemperatura.

- El display muestra la temperatura real de la placa si el led (2) estáiluminado o «000» si el led (3) está iluminado

8.3 LIMITADOR DE TEMPERATURA

Los bloques calefactires Tembloc y Multiplaces disponen de un límitadorde temperatura electrónico que impide que, en caso de fallo delregulador principal, la placa alcance temperaturas peligrosas. Cuandoel limitdor actúa se enciende el piloto rojo (8) y se corta la calefacción.Si el problema persiste avisar al servicio técnico.

No tocar los bloques ni su alojamiento: existe riesgo dequemaduras. Para poner y quitar los bloques metálicosusar siempre la varilla suministrada

9 Mantenimiento

Antes de quitar la tapa de la placa para manipular en su interior desconecte latoma de red.

La manipulación de los circuitos electrónicos internos de la placa porpersonal no autorizado puede provocar daños de difícil reparación.Asegúrese de llevar el equipo a uno de los servicios técnicos autoriza-dos por J.P. SELECTA, s.a.

9.1 LIMPIEZA

Para la limpieza de las diferentes piezas recomendamos usar un paño de algodónhumedecido con una solución de agua y alcohol.

5 Introduction

The metalic themostatic blocks Tembloc and Multiplaces are designed to work in atemperature range from room tempterature +30ºC to 200ºC with a stability of±0.75ºC. They have as accessory blocs to use with 1.5 ml eppendorf tubes andwith 12 mm, 16 mm and 20 mm diameter tubes as well as a block without holesready to be tooled with the drills needed by the user. The Temblocs can fit oneround block meanwhile the Multiplaces have capacity to three rectangular blocks.

7 Installation

7.1 PLACEMENT

Place the piece of equipment near of a socket keeping in mind the its amperageon a leveled surface enough resistant to support the weight indicated on thetable of the section 3 (Technical features), leaving and space of 10 cm by therear part and both laterals.

7.2 POWER SUPPLY CONEXION

Make sure that the voltage of given by the socket is the indicated on the featurelabel attached on the rear part .

Do not use the equipment unless it is correctly earthed.

If you replace the plug keep in mind the following:

Blue wire: NeutralBrown wire: PhaseYellow/green wire: Ground

8.1.1 SETTING A TEMPERATURE

After doing that is explained in the section 8.1:

- With the key (5) select led (2) lit.- Press the key (4) and, keeping it pressed, with the

keys (5) and (6) select the set temperature which willbe shown on the display (1).

8.1.2 SETTING A CYCLE TIME

After doing that is explained in the section 8.1:

- With the key (6) select led (3) lit.- Press the key (4) and, keeping it pressed, with the

keys (5) and (6) select the set cycle time which will beshown on the display (1).

8.2 SETTING AN OFFSET TEMPERATURE

When a calibration is made it is possible set an offset temperature:

- Press the keys (5) and (6) simultaneously for at least 5 seconds.- The display (1) will show the offset temperature (entre -9 i +9 ºC)- While the display shows the offset temperature, this value can be

modified using the keys (5) and (6).- If any modification is done for 5 seconds, the micro processor save

the last offset value shown on the display and get out by it self ofthe adjust menu.

8 Operation

8.1 STARTING UP

- Connect the equipment to the power supply- Place the block or blocks into the Tembloc or Multiplaces by the

supplied handle.- Turn on the main switch (9)

For some seconds the display shows «888» and then «-A-»Before to continue keep in mind that if the led (2) or the led (3)blinks, it means that the hotplate is heating. If is is the case, stopthe process pressing the key (7) Start/Stop unless that is not possiblemodify the set temperature or time.

- The display shows the actual temperature of the plate if the led (2)lights or «000» if the led (3) lights.

8.3 TEMPERATURE SWITCH

The Tembloc and Multiplaces heating blocks have an electronictemperature switch which avoid that, in case of main temperatureregulator failure, the plate reach dangerous temperatures. When thetemperature switch trigers the red pilot lamp (8) lights up and cutsthe heater. If the problem persists call the technical assistance.

Do not touch the blocs or its housing: There is risk ofburnings. To place or remove the blocks into its housinguser always the suplied handle.

9 Maintenance

Before of remove the cover to handle inside, unplug the the equipment from thesocket.

The handle of the electronic circuit boards by unskilled personel maycause damages. Make sure to give the equipment to an authorisedthechnical assistance.

9.1 CLEANING

To clean the different parts of the equipment recommend to use a cotton clothwet by a water and alcohol soludion.

This product is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee does not cover damagecaused by incorrect use or causes beyond the control of J.P. SELECTA,S.A.

Any manipulation of the apparatus by personnel not authorized by J.P.SELECTA,S.A. automatically cancels the guarantee.
