Facts about stainless steel

Heat treatment Thermal Effects destroys the chromium content in the stainless steel. Base Metal; - consist of Cr = 18% The surface gets a layer that needs to be removed. The layer consists off: Outer;- Welding oxide Cr > 10% Under;- 2-8 µm crom –poor zoon Cr < 10%

Production – What problems occur?

Treatment with TermoRens is an effective method for pacification of stainless material. Cleansing method GEL: Apply with a brush, roller or sprayed on. Clean using a 200 bar high pressure washer with steam. Cleansing method for liquid: Use dipp-tray with 50% diluted ThermoRens liquid. Treatment period from 12 hours to one day depending on the degree of corrosion. Clean with 200 bar high pressure washer with steam.
