Terminology list

Welcome!

Right now you are holding the official Supplying Terminology List in your hand. The aim with this document is to help all IKEA co-workers in understanding all the, sometimes complex, words used within Supplying. All words in this list has been approved by the responsible Process Leaders.

The Terminology List is updated several times per year which means that the Terminology List is always up to date. This also means that it is not recommended to print the list as printed versions quickly will be outdated.

This type of list is never complete and we need your help to keep it alive and updated. If you would like to propose a new word, change a definition or even delete a word send a mail to the responsible Process Leader from the list below (if you are not sure send it to Jonathan Catlow). The responsible Process Leader will review your case and if everything is ok make sure it will be in the next release of the Terminology List.

Finally just a little tip on how to use the document: In the content list you can click on any word to jump directly to the description of the word. If you rather browse through the document all words are sorted in alphabetical order.

Happy Reading!
