PM Scouts have been out and about this year, with plenty of outdoor action. Activities included the Australian Jamboree in January, a green level hike through Hidden Valley in July and camping on Maggie Island in August.

Venturer Scouts look wide... For unsuspecting Scouts, the road to Venturers is often long. Full of challenges and fraught with hidden dangers. Five Scouts braved the journey this year, the three below were invested at the Family Camp in July where they received a traditional initiation ceremony!

I was involved with Pimlico 18 years ago, and then Pimlico-Mundingburra as a parent helper, and then Quartermaster when Alex joined Joeys. After I went to the 2004 Jamboree in Adelaide, I took on my present role as Group Leader.

8. One highlight of your time in Scouting: Seeing youth members grow into young adults and achieve the awards they work so hard for, gaining great life skills along the way.

9. Favourite Scouting activity: Being part of P-M group and the great relationships we have formed.
