Literary weekend returns to Portarlington Midwinter Words, Portarlington’s annual literary event, will be held on July 22 with appearances by authors Mark Smith, Greg Foyster and Dorothy Johnston. They will discuss their work during a panel discussion followed by a workshop presented by Greg Foyster. The panel discussion will be held at 10 am in the Bayview Room, Park’s Hall, Newcombe Street. It will appeal to readers as well as writers, giving the audience an insight into the literary world of fiction and non-fiction. Book sales and author signings will follow the event. Greg Foyster will run his popular workshop, Writing About the Environment, starting at 1:30 pm in the same venue. The workshop is capped at 20 participants and those attending will receive workshop notes and a book. Tickets are available at the Portarlington Neighourhood House, 28 Brown Street, Portarlington. Literary weekend returns to Portarlington

Midwinter Words, Portarlington’s annual literary event, will be held on July 22 with appearances by authors Mark Smith, Greg Foyster and Dorothy Johnston. They will discuss their work during a panel discussion followed by a workshop presented by Greg Foyster. The panel discussion will be held at 10 am in the Bayview Room, Park’s Hall, Newcombe Street.
