**REMINDERS**
In order to lessen the line of cars extending from Blacks Mill Lane down onto the O’Connell Road during afternoon pick up, you may queue up the left-hand side of the school driveway while waiting to pick up your child/ren. Parents/carers: please remain in your cars.
NB: If your child is displaying ANY SYMPTOMS of being unwell; KEEP THEM HOME! Thank you.
20 Minute Reading Challenge: Keep it going everyone!
MUFTI DAY THEME
To end the term , the Year 6 students will host a mufti day tomorrow and will provide fun activities for the other students to participate in. This term we ask all students to wear as much RED as possible as we raise money for Ronald McDonald house in Orange. Please bring a gold coin (or more!) as a donation for this worthy cause.
FOREST DAY
We hope you had time over the weekend to chat to your children about forest day. We had a fantastic time. The weather was definitely in our favour and as always the students made the day!
P&C NEWS
The minutes of the P&C meeting held on the 9th of June in week 7 are now available on the O’Connell Public website. Jump on to see the great things our P&C are planning.

SCHOOLTV
A reminder to everyone that schooltv is accessible via the school website. This resource has a fantastic array of pertinent and topical articles. A new wave of topics will be released at the beginning of Term 3.
HEALTHY LUNCH POLICY
A reminder that we expect all children to bring adequate food for lunch and recess, made up of healthy choices. We have noted quite a few “sometimes” foods showing up in lunchboxes and we would ask to make a concerted effort to minimise this. Thank you.
ENJOY THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND
STAY COVID SAFE !
SEE YOU ALL IN TERM 3.
