Term 1 Week 10

Online learning will continue until the end of Term 1. A decision about whether schools will return to normal operations after the holidays will be taken in line with the latest advice from Government and we will keep the community informed.

While I don’t have a crystal ball and don’t know what school will look like after the holidays, we need to be prepared to be all accessing online learning – just in case. SCHOOL NEWS

Library Closed

As you may have seen on the news the Government has

issued a statewide order closing public libraries and

enforcing social distancing. As a result it is no longer

possible for Western Riverina Libraries to remain open

while ensuring the safety of our staff and members of our

communities.

Effective from now the branch libraries of Griffith,

Narrandera, Hillston, Hay and Jerilderie will be closed to

the public. During this difficult time remember as a

member of WRL you can still use our eCollections https://

www.wrl.nsw.gov.au/elibrary

Stage 6 Learning Continues

Hillston Central School continues to deliver Stage 6 video conference lessons using online software to ensure our senior students are not disadvantaged by the current circumstances.

Compared with many other schools across the state, our staff are already well-prepared for distance learning thanks to our experiences as part of the Riverina Access Partnership.
