Continuous evolution is a key

With the Aerokit Turbo, you can

optimise handling on the 911 Turbo

Coupé models for even the most

challenging track conditions. The

lightened rear lid offers a consider-

able weight saving over the stand-

ard engine cover. The fixed rear

spoiler incorporates a high-level

third brake light and signals the

car’s potential. For reasons of

safety, the distinctive rear lid and

spoiler unit must be fitted in

conjunction with the matching

front lip spoiler.

ExteriorThe Porsche 911 is widely acknow-

ledged as one of the most elegant

vehicles on the road. With Porsche

Tequipment, we’ve developed a

comprehensive range of aerodynam-

ic accessories to complement those

famous lines.

More importantly, of course, each

aero package helps to maximise

the front and rear downforce on

the car while minimising aerody-

namic drag. The result is a more

balanced and stable ride, with even

greater mid-corner grip.

Aerokit Carrera 4S

Specially developed in the Porsche

wind tunnel, the Aerokit Carrera 4S

combines enhanced aerodynamics

with powerful, stylish design. The

modified front lip spoiler and light-

weight rear wing help to minimise

front and rear lift. Largely derived

from the 911Turbo, the kit has been

carefully designed to incorporate

the wideband reflector that is one

of the key exterior features of the

911 Carrera 4S. The result is a

car that is both highly distinctive

and instantly recognisable as a

911 Carrera 4S.

Aerokit Cup II

(911 Carrera Coupé from 08/01)

Wind tunnel-developed for compe-

tition use, the Aerokit Cup II aug-

ments the uprated performance

of the 911 Carrera Coupé (08/01

onwards). The kit consists of a

modified front apron, matching

side skirts, and a distinctive fixed

rear spoiler. Performance benefits

include a consistent reduction

in front and rear aerodynamic lift.

The Aerokit Cup is another wind-

tunnel development offering a major

reduction in front and rear lift. The

kit consists of a revised front apron

with integral lip and spoiler arrange-

ment, matching side skirts, and a

bi-plane rear wing in place of the

standard electrically operated spoiler.

Widen the track on the front and rear

axles to enhance the appearance of

your Porsche. Centring elements on

either side of each spacer ensure a

perfect union with wheel and hub.

features include a new alloy in-

duction manifold, modified cylinder

heads, exhaust manifolds and

camshafts, and revised engine

Combines shorter and stiffer

springs with thicker anti-roll bars

(front and rear) plus firmer bump

and rebound on all four dampers.

Ride height is lowered by 10, 20

Brake (PCCB)

Carbon fibre-based ceramic disc

system offering powerful and con-

sistent deceleration. A key advan-

tage over conventional cast-iron

discs is the total weight saving of

approximately 50%. Includes six-

Short shifter

This short-throw gearshift offers

a reduction in lever travel of

approximately 35%. Precision en-

gineered for fast and accurate

selection, the result is a more dy-

911 GT3 RS), it can be combined

with all aluminium, wood and

carbon trim options from Porsche

Tequipment. Note: some slight

resistance during gearshifts may

be experienced when the vehicle

PCM

Porsche Communication Management

features a built-in CD drive (for both

audio and navigation CDs), a high-

resolution 5.8-inch colour display with

16:9 screen ratio, and a satellite navi-

gation module. The GPS system uses

an integrated antenna to establish

your position before calculating the

route to your chosen destination. It

can also provide a range of alter-

native routes using the TMC (Traffic

Message Channel) service currently

available in some countries. System

menus are easily navigable using a

Telephone module for PCM

Enjoy excellent call quality through

PCM with this dual-band telephone

module (900 and 1,800 MHz).

Calls are made using the 12-digit

keypad on the PCM terminal.

as well as full road network data for

13 European countries on a single

CD-ROM. The high-resolution dot-

matrix display combines excellent

quality and functionality. Route guid-

ance instructions are provided in

graphical and spoken form via the

dot-matrix display and standard

audio speakers. Output is available

in English, French, German, Italian,

Dutch, Swedish and Spanish. In

some countries, the system’s

dynamic route guidance capability

enables you to anticipate and avoid

congestion. Easy fitment compar-

All Porsche audio systems for
