PXG 0311 P GEN3 Irons present an ideal balance of playability and forgiveness for golfers
at every level of the game. The body is five-times forged from 8620 soft-carbon steel.
The back surface is then CNC-milled to perfect every curve and angle. Innovative Impact
Reactor Technology, powered by PXG’s DualCOR and the world’s thinnest face, delivers
incredible distance while dampening harsh vibrations. P Irons feature a moderate head
size and offset.

How many head types are available?
PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons are available in three models – Tour (T), Players (P) and Xtreme Performance (XP).
What is the MSRP for PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons?
$425 per club
What materials are used to produce each club?
PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons are five-times forged from 8620 soft carbon steel, then milled.
What is Impact Reactor Technology™?
New Impact Reactor Technology behaves like an elastic material, storing more potential energy in the system when a load is applied and re-moved, resulting in explosive ball speed, increased distance and an amazingly soft, yet solid feel.
Powered by a DualCOR:
• Mantle Layer – behind the face
• High-strength, high-COR polymer outer core provides structural stability across the face.
• Secondary Core Layer – fills the cavity
• Extremely high-COR soft polymer core significantly increases face loading to deliver more energy to the golf ball and contributes to an incredibly soft feel during impact.
Why don’t we share more information about the process for creating the core of GEN3 Irons?
The manufacturing process for creating the innovative core for GEN3 Irons is not only incredibly complicated, it is proprietary.
Why were the specifications for the XP Irons changed?
The XP Irons (Xtreme Performance) are not only incredibly easy to hit, they are designed for distance. To maximize distance and to appropriately gap the set, standard clubhead specifications were adjusted for head weight, loft and shaft length. Due to gains in ball speed and changes in launch conditions, the loft gaps are relatively small between the long irons to maintain accurate distance gapping.
Since the XP Irons standard specifications do not align with the P and T models, can I still build a blended set?
Yes. However, we recommend that any blended sets that include XP Irons be built to the standard specifications of the coordinating P or T model. Clubhead weight will also have to be modified to accommodate a blended set that includes XP Irons.
Will the Nickel/Chrome finish wear off?
The Nickel/Chrome finish on GEN3 Irons is incredibly durable. Any visible wear will be consistent with environment and usage.
What finishes are available?
PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons are available in Nickel/Chrome.
What shafts are available?
PXG’s premium shaft matrix is the standard offering for PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons. There are more than 50 available shaft options, all tested by our engineers for optimum performance with our clubhead technology.

Are PXG 0311 ST Irons part of the GEN3 Irons collection?
No. GEN3 Irons are forged and feature a multi-part construction and our innovative Impact Reactor Technology™. PXG 0311 ST Irons feature a 100% milled solid-body design.
Are the milled and forged wedges part of the GEN3 Irons collection?
No. PXG’s numbered wedges do not align with a specific generation of irons. They are designed to augment a set based on player preferences and course management needs.
Will we still feature multiple sole designs for the milled wedges?
Based on player feedback we have simplified the milled wedge collection. We will only offer the Sugar Daddy model but will make available two sole designs in the 58° and 60° loft options.
What is the main play/feel difference between the forged and milled wedges?
Both products present an exceptional feel and similar performance. The primary difference lies in the aesthetic, polished chrome versus matte with subtle mill lines. The milled wedges also present an incredibly precise and consistent body design, which may be desirable for better wedge players who refresh their wedges more frequently.
Are there new GEN3 Driving Irons?
No.

PXG 0311 T GEN3 Irons are a tour-inspired design, made for players looking for maximum
workability. The body is five-times forged from 8620 soft-carbon steel. The back surface is
then CNC-milled to perfect every curve and angle. Innovative Impact Reactor Technology,
powered by PXG’s DualCOR and the world’s thinnest face, delivers incredible distance
while dampening harsh vibrations. T Irons are a blade in size and appearance, and feature
narrow sole for unencumbered turf interaction.
