Definition » ‘The Club’ means The Brisbane Golf Club

Confirmation of Booking » To confirm your booking we require payment

of your deposit and a completed and signed copy of these terms and conditions.

» If this condition is not satisfies within 14 days from the date the Club accepts your booking, all tentative bookings will be released.

Deposit » A deposit of $1000 non-refundable in case

of cancellation or 10% of the total estimated charge, whichever is greater, is required within 14 days of making a tentative booking. A further deposit of 50% of the total estimate charge is require one month prior to your event date.

Room Hire & Payment » Full Day Room Hire $600 and Half Day Hire

$300 » Full payment is required at least 14 days prior

to your event.

Event Details » You are required to provide the Club in

writing the full details of your event.

Minimum Spends » Minimum spends includes food and beverage

and the standard room hire fee. In the case that the minimum spend is not reached an extra room hire fee will be charged equal to the shortfall of the minimum spend.

Final Attendance Numbers » Final attendance numbers must be notified

to the Club 14 days prior to your event. This number will be regarded as the minimum number for catering and you will be charged based on that number.

Arrival/Departure Times » As indicated by your Brisbane Golf Club event

organizer.

Catering and Beverage » The catering and beverage herein is subject to

change without notice » Menu choices and upgrades are applicable to

every guest » Menus are indicative only » All menu items are subject to seasonal

variation or variation caused by extreme weather conditions. Additional charges could be applied if alternatives cannot be arranged

» Beverage costs are applicable to every guest over the age of 18 years

» A prepaid bar tab may be required for your event

» Catering and beverages of any kind are not permitted to be brought into the Club without prior consent of the General Manager

» The Club will permit cakes of celebratory nature, for which the client should assume full responsibility for any resultant damage, injury or harm caused to any person

» The Club must be notified of your catering and beverage requirements at least three weeks prior to your event

Surcharges » Bookings made on a public holiday incur a 15%

surcharge.

Items not Collected » Any items that have not been collected after

the event will be disposed of within 14 days.

Deliveries » Clients are welcome to arrange for the direct

delivery of items for use at their event to the Club. We ask that deliveries be pre-arranged with the Club and that the delivery include your surname and the date of your event.

Damage » The organizer will be financially responsible

for damage sustained to the Club property during their event through their own actions, those of their guests, subcontractors and contractors. There will be an additional charge for any necessary repairs or excessive cleaning which will be passed directly to the client.

Smoking » Smoking is not permitted inside the Club. A

designated outdoor smoking area (DOSA) is located on the balcony adjacent to the Tennyson Room. Catering is not permitted to be consumed in the DOSA. Entertainment is not permitted on the DOSA.

Responsible Service of Alcohol » The Club is committed to the responsible

service of alcohol and our staff are trained to ensure best practice is followed at all times in this regard.

Dress Code » Please be advised that a strict dress code

applies at the Club and you must comply with it when visiting the Club for any purpose prior to or after your event.

18th to 21st Birthdays » All parties will require a security guard. This

is to the cost of the client and not the Club. The Club can organize guards and charge on invoice.

Golf Carts » Motorised golf carts may be used for the

purpose of golf and photos, however, the client will be liable for any damage or personal injury.

Cancellations » Your initial deposit is not refundable » Between 30 days and 60 days before your

event, you must pay the Club 25% of the total estimated charge.

» Between 14 days and 30 days before your event, you must pay the Club 50% of the total estimated charge.

» Within 14 days of your vent, full payment of the estimated function charge is required.

» Any cancellations must be received in writing
