On the ground: Airport – my definition

• An airport is the entry/exit port of a country and important for the economy (business, tourism, etc.)

• An airport either works or it does not work • Fast movement of crowd (e.g. straight walking paths and not zig-zag through small corridors

or via stairs/elevators, buses)

• Fast Baggage Handling Systems • Short Taxi queues • Easy access to information / directions • Easy access to wireless communications without going

through difficult sign-up procedures • Radar avoidance “Dynamic Frequency Selection – DFS” • Safety and Security

In the Air: Airplanes – my definition

• An airplane brings you from airport A to B as fast as possible and safely.

• Airplanes • Easy to walk through corridors and store luggage • Good air-conditioning (not too hot/cold and clean-air) • In-flight entertainment systems • Free food vs paid food • Convenient seats in economy class with facilities like

electricity power for laptop and USB-power for smartphone

• Wi-Fi and Cellular (Roaming) coverage (for a reasonable cost)

tablets, smartphones, Internet of Things)

• There is no classification of Wi-Fi tools
