▲ 유신기술회보 _ 기술자료 A case study for design and construction of a cofferdam was performed, and it showed brief explanations of the method for changing water flow and the procedure of selecting an appropriate type of a cofferdam including the stability checks. The case study was carried out based on cofferdams of 16 submerged weirs in 'The 4-river restoration project' and dams in domestic. The method for changing water flow was determined considering geological and hydraulic conditions, environmental effects and construction economics.
