Carefully cut out each character and sellotape a lollipop stick to the back so that you have a puppet you can move around. You could even create your own characters to add into the story. 3 Write a script: Start at the beginning of your story and think about what your characters would say to each other. You can also add sound effects like a crash of lightning or a bark of a dog! You can also have a narrator who explains parts of the story to the audience and will set the scene, like ‘It was a rainy night and the Darling children were tucked up in bed….’ 4 Act out your play! 1 Write your story! Imagine what adventures Peter and his friends might go on next or retell your own version of the Peter Pan story.
