The ACS – Avaya IP Telephony Implement credential is comprised of three components:
1. Successful completion of the required product elective assessments: Avaya Communication Manager Overview (Assessment) (AVA00383AEN) IP Telephony Design Enterprise (English Assessment) (AVA00956AEN_E) Or IP Telephony Design Enterprise (German Assessment) (AVA00956ADE_E)
2. Successful passing score on the Avaya IP Telephony Implement and Support Exam 132-S-916.3 Exam available at Pearson VUE Testing Centers worldwide: www.vue.com/avaya
This Study Guide lists all Avaya University courses that relate to the Avaya IP Telephony Implement and Support Exam. Not all are required prior to taking the exam. Any other learning activities listed on the map are recommended for preparation but not required to complete the credential.

This section of the exam represents 12% of the questions
Exam Section Objectives:
Given a system specific configuration, identify the proper physical layer installation and configuration.
Explain the procedure for configuring network IP addresses on a specific system (Media Gateways and media servers)
Identify the correct network Speed/Duplex setting for Med Pro, CLAN, phones, or an Ethernet switch.

This section of the exam represents 18% of the questions
Exam Section Objectives:

This section of the exam represents 11% of the questions
Exam Section Objectives:

Section 7. Setup the H.323 Phones
This section of the exam represents 9% of the questions
Exam Section Objectives:
Given an H.323 phone troubleshooting scenario, identify the appropriate keypad commands and/or Communication Manager tools to solve the problem.
Identify the configuration steps for 46xx phones and their supporting servers. (TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP and DNS)

This section of the exam represents 22% of the questions
Exam Section Objectives:
Given a troubleshooting scenario, determine the sources of information to identify hardware failures.
Given a troubleshooting scenario within software, determine the sources of information to diagnose and resolve problems.
Given a system failure, diagnose and solve the problem using network, hardware, or software utilities (NMS Systems, VMON or 3rd Party products).
