• They allow tracking the treatment of actinic keratosis through pictures of the affected skin zone

• Some spots have appeared in her hands, and this scared her

• Her friends have recommended her to see the doctor for treatment

• She is frightened it is not the same kind of spots than his head’s partner’s

• Pilar asks her friends and acquaintances if they know a good dermatologist

• Two of them recommend Dr Clara, who is very friendly, and very good dermatologist, she is also very innovative

• Pilar calls Dr Clara for a visit

• The day of the visit, she arrives at the doctor office with a friend, she prefers somebody with her

• Dr Clara receives them with a big smile, being of great help to reduce stress

• In addition, Pilar see her office is very modern, and it seems to have the latest technologies, with a laptop and a smartphone on the table

• Dr Clara has given a deep empathy feeling

• Clara Dr Pilar asks which is the reason for her visit

• Pilar explains that she concerns some new spots on her hands

• Dr Clara opens a patient file with number 5678

• Dr Clara fills up the form with some general questions about Pilar

• Dr Clara makes a general examination of the spots on the skin

• Dr Clara diagnoses actinic keratosis, and explains that a treatment should be followed for 3 months with a dermatological cream, twice daily

• Dr Clara asks Pilar if she has a smartphone and if she wants to track treatment progress through a mobile application for teledermatology

• Pilar, pleasantly surprised, says that of course, that all that is needed to better monitor those spots

• Dr Clara fills the dermatological cream recipe and gives it to Pilar

• In addition, Dr Clara asks her email

• Pilar answers [email protected]

• Dr Clara opens Dermadoc application on her smartphone, she clicks on New Patient and she types5678 in the patient number field

• She clicks on Share, and in the text field she types [email protected]

• The Dra Clara explain Pilar to go to the pharmacy to buy the dermatological cream, and once she gets home, she has to follow the instructions she has received by email

• Dr Clara explains that the email contains an explanation and a link. When she clicks on, she will be asked to accept the sharedinformation that she has sent, and then she also has to accept the terms of use and privacy policy, and then, she will be able to download the Dermapat application

• Dr Clara explains that Pilar can take pictures of the evolution of the spots of the hands from home, and she may keep track of these pictures remotely

• Also she explains that both of them can add comments at the pictures and she may provide an answer in case of seeing something out of expected

• Pilar arrives impatiently at home after buying a dermatological cream at the pharmacy

• She reads the email from Dr Clara, and she clicks to accept, as she accepts the terms of use and privacy policy as well

• As the system detects Pilar is stillnot a user of aaaida, she is prompted to enter the password twice; to become a new user

• Then, she can download the application and once installed,she is ready to start using Dermapat application

• Both of them will see the exchange of comments related to a picture, in each app

• In case Dr Clara sees something unusual, she can leave a comment requiring a call or a new visit ahead of schedule

• And if everything happens as expected, after three months of treatment, the day of the visit, they can discuss treatment progress through pictures taken
