Dear Parent/Guardian,The Autumn Term is in full swing and all children are continuing to work hard within their classrooms.
Reception children are really settling in to school life and are enjoying the Foundation Phase environment.
At the end of last week, we hosted a sports event for Ystruth Primary School, Blaenau Gwent and St. Gwladys School, Bargoed. Gilwern is working in partnership with these schools who have also been categorised as ‘Green’. We are partnered with these two schools in a exciting initiative called ‘Sustaining and Growing Excellence’ .
For your own information, this newsletter will now be produced fortnightly and will still include all of the usual features.
Can I take this opportunity to thank you for supporting your children in their return to school and look forward to working with you as the year unfolds.Mrs J Broad
