    Chapter 2Norms set for the Discharge of Functions

    [Section 4(1)(b)(iv)]

    4.1 The norms set by it for the discharge of its

    functions

    a) Office functions during the hours from 10.30 AM to 05.00 PM on allworking days.

    b) Issues / works relating to the public importance / interest will becompleted as per the time schedule prescribed under the citizen charter.

    c) Official business will be carried out as per the rules and Acts of theGovernment

    d) Rules prescribed in the Board standing Orders will be observed forassignment / alienation of land.

    e) Survey & Settlement Act provides for procedure for measurement of land,sub-division of fields and fixation of boundary.

    f) Supervision and functioning of Public Distribution System will be done asper the rules of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955

    Issues relating to implementation of Public Distribution System are

    being reviewed by the Food Advisory Committees from Village level to

    District level. Similarly, Assignment of Government land to the eligible

    poor is also being reviewed by Mandal Assignment Review Committees.
