2.1 The powers and duties of its officers and employees
Tahsildar1.General Control and Supervision over the Mandal Revenue Inspectors, Village
Revenue Officers, Village Revenue Assistants and Other Subordinate special staff,
working at Mandal level.
2.Review of Fortnightly Tour dairies of Mandal Revenue Inspectors /Special Revenue
Inspectors.
3. General enquiries coming within the purview of Tahsildar.
4. Protocol Duties.
5. Issue of Community/ Property/Nativity/Income/Heir ship Certificates.
6. Maintenance of all accounts stipulated in Manual of Mandal Accounts.
7. Enforcing Authority and Mandal level the provisions all Acts, Rules and Manualsissued by Government from time to time.
8. To exercise the functions of an executive magistrate including law and order andExhumation of dead bodies or requisition from police.

Chapter 2Norms set for the Discharge of Functions

4.1 The norms set by it for the discharge of its
functions
a) Office functions during the hours from 10.30 AM to 05.00 PM on allworking days.
b) Issues / works relating to the public importance / interest will becompleted as per the time schedule prescribed under the citizen charter.
c) Official business will be carried out as per the rules and Acts of theGovernment
d) Rules prescribed in the Board standing Orders will be observed forassignment / alienation of land.

being reviewed by the Food Advisory Committees from Village level to
