all levels and give them practical

As academic leaders and higher education administrators, we carry the responsibility to look beyond just classroom teaching supplemented with a couple of practical/laboratory hours. We also focus upon regular inputs in the shape of interdisciplinary exposure, soft skills, liberal choice of courses, flexible schedules, community and social service and extension activities to prepare a complete professional having adequate social relevance.

We aim to prepare the students t o b e c o m e o p e n - m i n d e d , knowledgeable and critical t h i n k e r s w h o c a n ex p re s s themselves in many ways. Teethanker Mahaveer Institute of Management & Technology (TMIMT) was established in 2001 to impart professional education in the areas of management and information technology. The programs in all these fields are offered both at graduate and post graduate levels. Moradabad,

being a well known industrial town, famous all over the world as “Brass City”, occupies a special place in global business map. The institute is catering manpower requirements of global standards for industries here and for industrial world. The academic and professional inputs provided in the institute broaden and upgrade their personality. Moreover, the students get ample opportunities to visit nearby industries and also of interacting with the industry experts. From time to time experts of repute are invited to conduct workshops and special training sessions for the students. This helps them imbibe the entrepreneurial spirit and development of skills required by industries.

About TMU

Teerthanker Mahaveer University has been established under the Act of Government of Uttar Pradesh (No.30 of 2008) on 14th September, 2008 under the aegis of Teerthanker Mahaveer Institute of Management & Technology

(Society), Moradabad. The University Grant Commission (UGC) empowers Teerthanker Mahaveer University to award degrees U/S 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. The courses have the necessary approval of regulatory bodies. The University has earned international fame in the area of medical science, dentistry, management and engineering education. Students from all across the world are enrolled here for higher education in various disciplines.

Corporate Resource Centre - TMIMT endeavors to equip students with all managerial skills required in the industry, companies of government and private sector. The institute has its own fully developed and operational Corporate Resource Centre - TMIMT (Placement cell) headed by highly experienced industry professionals to help students seeking their careers in desired fields. The Corporate Resource Centre – TMIMT acts as an interface between the institute and corporate world. The Centre is responsible for continuous Industry Academia Interaction, Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Soft Skills Training & Grooming, Seminars and workshops for strengthening corporate relations and ultimately help students to find good placements. Corporate Resource Centre - TMIMT organizes soft skills, personality development, career guidance and counseling sessions for the students to enable them to face competition as professionals. The centre conducts group discussions, mock interviews and aptitude tests from time to time to prepare the students for campus placements. Corporate Resource Centre - TMIMT has organized corporate meets to asses industry requirements and gives the students an insight into workings of corporate world. Such meets were organized at industry zones as Rudrapur, Gajraula, Haridwar, Selaqui, Dehradun, Noida to seek training & employment opportunities at respective companies operating there. Corporate Resource Centre - TMIMT witnesses its unique strengths to support industry partners and prospective employers to visit the institute and meet their expected professionals by conducting rigorous selection processes involving end to end steps for recruitment. It is the result of unrelenting, sustained effort with clear cut focus on all areas that contribute towards making our management graduates ready to take on leadership responsibilities in their new roles: Corporate Resource Centre - TMIMT constantly groom budding managers and are regularly involved in executive education – exposing students to the right mix of theory and real world issues.

For Placement Pre Selection, every TMIMT student is hand-picked. He/ She go through a series of interviews and discussions before they make it through the gates of our institute. Their backgrounds are varied. A large percentage of our students come with work experience in areas such as Human Resource, Marketing. Banking, FMCG, Manufacturing, Telecom, Advertising, etc. Yet they have one goal in mind – to succeed as professionals and individuals.
