TEDx at The Berry Theatre, November 5th
Overview This Saturday (05/11) is the TEDx event at the Berry Theatre, we will be there from 8am to 9pm approx. and we are rigging, filming and then derigging in that time period. The OB truck will be positioned out the back of the stage with access to the stage from the same area as to not disturb the talks. 5 camera OB, Cabling will all be coming from the OB truck to the inside of the theatre with the longest needed being 100m.
Access and Key points
- Start at 1pm, 240 mins approx - Cabling must be kept out of the way of both the speakers and the public - 5 Cameras, positioned around the theatre to be set up and balanced pre-talks - Musical performances are also happening throughout the day as to break it up a bit, be
prepared for changes in lighting and audio - Power is available on both sides of the stage but we will be using it from stage right, then using
a distribution box on the truck end - Stage box will be on stage right - We will be using the ceiling netting and ladders provided as part of the theatre, caution advised

Cameras For this event we will be using 3 Ikegami system Cameras as well as 2 Sony system Cameras from the Production side. Each camera will need to be posistioned and connected properly to the OB truck.

Cabling, Sony – Tri-Ax, Ikegami – Fiber cabling

Camera 1: Lower Floor, In the seating area, minimal movement Camera 2: Lower Floor, In the seating area, minimal movement (Wide lens) Camera 3: Lower Floor, In the seating area, minimal movement Camera 4: Right wing, Looking onto stage and also at the audience (Wide lens) Camera 5: Back of the Theatre, still wide shot (Tele zoom lens)
Ikegami to be run off of Fiber ( 3 x 100m reels)
Sony to be run off of Tri-Ax ( 2 x 100m drums)
Cam 5 cable can go up side wall by SR, then across ceiling. Cam 1/2/3 run up behind the wooden side wall then along under the row 5 seats – must be taped down.
Sound We will be receiving audio from the theatre via the stage box, the stage box will feed back into the truck. Should be stereo mix of lapel and handheld mics. We will also add 2 ambient mics for fx.
