3 Introduction

In Teddy Together, you live with abear that you can befriend throughactivities such as talking with it,feeding it, and taking it travelling!

4 Starting the Game

Select "New Game" from the TitleScreen to begin playing.

Playing for the First TimeThe first time you play, you willneed to name your bear and set aplayer name. Use the virtualkeyboard to enter the names. Touch

if you need to deletecharacters. Once you have decidedon a name, touch "OK" and then"Yes" to set it. Please note that youwill not be able to change yourname or the name of your bear onceit has been set.

Touch "↑","ABC", or "ÉαЯ"to change thekeyboard.

Call Your Bear's NameOnce you've entered a name, callyour bear to start playing. Say yourbear's name when the microphoneappears on the Touch Screen.

6 Game Controls

This game can becontrolled almostentirely using theTouch Screen andstylus. Touch orslide the stylusacross the Touch Screen accordingto the instructions shown on-screen.You will also need to use theNintendo 3DS system's microphonein certain situations.

7 Progressing Through the Game

Talk with Your BearYour bear willask youquestions, andyou can tell itthings aboutyourself. Onceyou have answered a certain amountof questions, your Friendship Level(p. 8) will increase, and you andyour bear will grow closer.

Enjoy life with your bear from theLiving Room (p. 10).

Befriend Your BearBy caring for and talking with yourbear, it will become more and morefond of you.

Take Care of Your BearYou can batheand makemeals for yourbear. Care foryour bearenough, and itwill ask you questions (p. 8) andgive you thank you gifts (p. 9).

Other Fun ActivitiesYou can raise various kinds of plantsin your Garden (p. 18-21). You canthen sell these plants for coins,which can then be used to buyclothes and lollies for your bear.You can also collect the things thatyour bear gives you, or go to"Memories" (p. 16) to look back onthe memories you have made withyour bear.

8 Talking with Your Bear

QuestionsYour bear will askyou variousquestions aboutyourself. Selectfrom the optionsgiven or typesomething in toanswer them.

After you teach your bear a word, itwill start to use it in yourconversations.Words that your bear has learnt canbe checked by going to "Notes"(p. 16), and then "Notebook".In Notebook, you can change youranswers and give additional details.As you tell your bear more aboutyourself, you will be able to talkabout more things together.

♦ Your bear is still very young, sothere may be some words itstruggles to pronounce properly.

Increasing Your FriendshipLevel

9 Gratitude From Your Bear

Your Bear's ThankfulnessTaking care of your bear will causetheir Gratitude Gauge (p. 16) to fillup. When the gauge fills upcompletely, a Thank-You Event willtake place.The Gratitude Gauge can bechecked by selecting "Notes"(p. 16), then "Status".

Filling the Gratitude GaugeThe gauge will fill up as you dothings for your bear, such as thefollowing:● Make meals for your bear● Clean your bear● Give lollies to your bear

11 Changing Clothes

Touc to turn your bear around,touc to zoom in or out, andtouc to remove all of theclothes currently on your bear.

ColourSelect the colour you want, thentouch "Change" to change thecolours of your bear. Give your beara lot of loll ies (p. 15) to unlockmore colours.

♦ Your bear may share some of thefood with you.

♦ If the food is too hot, your bearwon't be able to eat it. If thishappens, you can use themicrophone to blow on the foodto cool it down.

Helping Your Bear to Eat

Once you have made your meal, youwill have to feed it to your bear.

RinsingSlide the stylusacross the TouchScreen to rinse thebubbles off yourbear with theshower.

19 Growing Plants

♦ When watering, plants may groweven in plots where you haven'tplanted any seeds. The kind ofplants that grow in this case willdepend on the type of fertiliseron the plot.

Water plants using your stars ofhappiness to make them grow. Oncethey are fully grown, you canharvest them.

Clearing ChallengesDepending on the types of plant youraise, you can fulfil differentrequirements and clear challenges(p. 21) to gain rewards.

20 More Plant Varieties

Combining SeedsIf you plant two or more seeds inthe same plot, you may be able togrow a new, rare plant.♦ You can check a plant's rarity in

the Plant Catalogue (p. 21).

FertiliserUsing fertiliser on a plot changes thesoil, making it easier to grow certainplants. To use fertiliser, touch theplot you want to use fertiliser on,then select "Fertiliser". From there,touch the kind of fertiliser you wantto use and then select "Use".♦ You will be able to use more

kinds of fertiliser as yourFriendship Level (p. 8) increases.

By using different seeds or fertiliseron a plot, you can change the kindof plant that will grow there. Try lotsof different combinations to get newkinds of plants.

Planting SeedsIf you plant a singleseed of any plantin a plot, this is theplant that will grow.Touch the seedyou want to use,then select "Plant" to plant theseed.

There are 16 typesof fertiliser you canchoose from intotal. Each type(All, Flowers,Vegetables, Trees)comes in four colours representingeach season: pink for spring, greenfor summer, orange for autumn andblue for winter.♦ For example, using th

fertiliser on a plot will help yougrow a spring flower.

♦ Once you have seen an event,you can watch it again at anytime by going to "Memories"(p. 16).

By dressing yourbear in certainoutfits and going tothe Station, youcan unlock specialtravel events.
