To differentiate this new Signode product into the market (especially when compared to inferior copies), the Platinum colour was

introduced.Is the Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping Australian Made?Yes the Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping is exclusively made at our facility in Derrimut Victoria.

Is there more recycled resin in Platinum vs. Green?No, Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping has the same % of recycled content in it as per the Signode Green Polyester Strapping . The difference being the exclusively sourced rPET that is included in the Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping products.

Is there a performance difference between Platinum vs. Green?From extensive field trials conducted by Signode, the Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping has preformed as equal to or better than the Signode Green Polyester Strapping. Compared to some imported products, the Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping out performed these imported products in a number of key and critical areas. Similar to the Signode Green Polyester Strapping products, Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping is suitable for both manual and automatic applications.

Are the specifications of the Platinum different to the Green?The manufacturing & product specifications of the Signode Platinum Polyester products are identical to the corresponding Signode Green Polyester products.

Is there a price difference?The good news is that Signode customers can purchase the premium Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping at the same price as the Signode Green Polyester Strapping. With price increases for PET resin and rPET products expected to hit soon, the Signode Platinum Polyester products will provide some greater stability to our customers’ pricing.

Is Platinum recyclable?Yes - as per the Signode Green Polyester Strapping products, Signode Platinum Polyester Strapping can be recycled.

Is green still available?Yes the Signode Green Polyester Strapping is still available but restricted to some products. Please ask your friendly Signode sales representative.
