Doodle is a free website that simplifies schedule a meeting at work, get togethers with friends, or any other event in which several people have to find a date and time they are all available.

We are all very busy, and Doodle makes the process of getting together with others a lot easier.

● Schedule meetings● Schedule GNO● Survey for book club, restaurants, etc...

Email the link Doodle gives you to your friends and their names automatically populate the participants section. It’s easy for friends to fill out the form since all they do is put a check next to dates/times that work. Doodle color codes the chart with yes/no/ifneedbe and lists the number of responses of each at the bottom of the chart. Seriously, it is that easy.

Powtoon’s Mission:To address all the frustrations that people have with Power Point and Keynote and add animation and killer design

What is Kahoot!?

● a collection of questions on specific topics● asked in real-time, to an unlimited number of “players”● creates a social, fun & game-like learning environment● participate on computer, tablet, or smartphone● no log-in account needed● great for all ages

1. Go to: Kahoot.it2. Type in Game Pin I give you.3. Type in your FIRST NAME or an

appropriate NICKNAME.4. Join.

● There are different links for Kahoot It.○ To create one: https://create.kahoot.it ○ Kids get game pin and play at: kahoot.it

● You can set the timer for as long or short as you like (I did 20-30 seconds). If everyone responds in 15 seconds, it moves on so you don't have to wait.

● You can make the questions worth points or not worth points. Points make it more competitive, but the kids will see if they are #50/50 on their computer. Only the top 5 respondents are listed after each question.

● Faster answers earn more points, even if two people respond with the same correct answer.

Helpful Kahoot Tips

❖ I’ve used this for a “new students” group. Students divided up topics/tips for new students (making friends, managing a locker, etc…). They each created a comic strip (6 squares is the max for free accounts). We distributed the comic strip series to other new students.

❖ I used the strips in a Girls’ Empowerment Group. The students made strips with themselves as the main character overcoming a challenge they face.

❖ I also used it in a group where students were disorganized. They made comic strips about their journey from disorganized to organized.

Use StoryboardThat to create FREE comic strips!
