Directions:


Weld mark-up rule for spool fabrication:• The spool usually consists of one pipe and one fitting.• The spool length specifies less than 12 meters for delivery.• The spool-shape is two-dimensional(2D).

Large bore & small bore:• Field welding is the priority for a small bore (1.5” and less).• Small fitting(O-LET, Boss, Coupling) items shall be shop welded, which will

connect them to large bores. Random SPOOL:

• A random spool’s cut point should be used “FW” as per the pipe-dimension.• If the purchased pipe’s length is less than 12 meters, it will be a ‘double-joint

welding’ in the shop. Straight Lines:

• FW should be checked for far enough positions from the supports.• Minimized field welding in a loop course.• Available in a horizontal direction; the welding point to be done is Field-
