Dimension changes NDP and AD-25 PVDF series

After many years, Yamada Corporation needed to create new moldings for the NDP and AD-25 series to replace the old ones. With that they also took the advantage making some small measurement changes on the NDP-(P)25BV. series, providing the highest quality required these days. The adaption of measurements will not have any negative effect on the total pump performance. Maximum flow, suction performance and others will remain the same. What measurements will change? Pump chamber, manifold, ball guide, ball seat and outer center disk. As a result, some outer measurements of the following pumps and dampener will change as follows; NDP-25BV.(-FLG) PVDF pump with aluminum anodic coated motor:

Which parts are going to change?

Are parts interchangeable? Not all. New pump chambers (9), ball guides (2) and valve seats (4) are not interchangeable as separate parts on the old models. As a complete set, they are interchangeable.

Availability old spare parts; Until the end of 2019 we can supply the old articles as described in the table at the beginning of this page. After that only the new parts are available. We recommend to upgrade your old pump asap

Spare part kits old pump model and new pump model: Only the valve kit of the new pump models will become a temporary article code until the old spare parts run out (end of 2019). After that the temporary code will stop, and it will be replaced by the old well known codes. This kit will contain the new ball guides and valve seats and is as a result no longer interchangeable with the old pump model. Around that time you will be informed. See page 3 for these kits.

Spare part kits old pump model and new pump model: As soon we run out of old parts, we will inform you. After that the standard article codes K25V-VE etc. will be used but with the new parts Inside which are no longer interchangeable with the old pump configuration.

Upgrading your old model PVDF 25 pump to new:

Yamada Europe offers you the option to upgrade your old PVDF 25 pump to the new pump chambers, ball guides and valve seats by offering you a rebuild kit until the end of this year for a special price. Kit K25-VU2018 . Contents of this kit: 2x pump chamber 780312, 4x ball guide 773419, 4x valve seat 780137 and 8 PTFE O-rings. To do so you must order the kit and give us the serial number from the pump which will be upgraded. For more info, please contact your Regional Sales Manager or the Yamada sales team. From when will these changes start? The production in Japan of the new NDP-(P)25BV. models will start in May this year. YE expects to start selling the new upgrade version from July or August 2018. From serial number 969821 and higher the pump will be the new execution PVDF pump YC. As soon we start with the new upgrade versions YE(see page 4), we will inform you with our start serial number.

TECHNICAL UPDATE How can you distinguish new from old on the out side of the transport box, apart from the serial number? Beside the model number, all Yamada Corporation pumps have a so called article number. Below table shows the difference between old and new article number.
