Temporary RecruitmentWe currently supply over 500 Temporary Sta� across Essex and Su�olk.

We always interview face to face all our Temporary Workers, we hold full records with either a full length UK Birth Certi�cate or a current Passport.

We are rigorous with our referencing procedure, obtaining 2 employment and 1 personal reference prior to candidatesstarting work or within a 4 week maximum period a�er the assignment commences.

We have access to a large workforce of registered candidates with varied skills working in warehouses, factories,o�ces, care homes and many other business types.

We are easily contactable and able to react quickly and e�ciently to emergency sta�ng issues and shortages.

�e o�ce is manned between 7.00am and 5.30pm, in addition we operate an out of hours servicefor short notice and unexpected bookings, during evenings and weekends. Out of hours number: 07971 239788

Temporary Worker RegistrationWhen registering, all temporary sta� are issued with a Prime Appointments’ Handbook giving

them key information about suitable conduct in the work place and for their safety and well-being.

We are rigorous with our referencing procedure, obtaining 2 employment and 1 personal reference prior to candidates starting work or within a 4 week maximum period a�er the

assignment commences.

�e handbook includes a copy of candidate’s Contract of Employment and details all aspects of H&S, Pay, WTD and AWR along with Out of Hours contact numbers for emergencies.

As part of our standard registration procedure we carry out a basic assessment for Maths and English.

Payment of Temporary WorkersOne invoice with no hidden additional charges making business simple and transparent.

All charges are inclusive of holiday pay, SSP, SMP, NI and ENI.

Our payslips are clear, concise and user �iendly, by way of secure passcode candidates can access documents online.

All calculations - holiday pay, SSP, SMP etc. are clearly detailed on payslips.

We pay all of our temporary workers weekly.

Our experienced Accounts Team support our Temporary Sta� with payment queries, accrued holiday and providingclear explanation when queries arise.

Health & SafetyWe have a comprehensive interview procedure covering all aspects of Health & Safety.

Manual Handling is explained and demonstrated by certi�cated personnel.

Personal Health Assessment is completed by the candidate, detailing medical history, medication and �tness to work.

Compliance & LegislationWe always interview face to face all our Temporary Workers, we hold full records with either a

As part of the induction procedure we have forms completed and signed by the Temporary Sta� forCapacity to Work in the UK.

As a member of the Recruitment Employment Confederation (REC) we receive updates on Industrial sector legislationand regulation updates across a broad spectrum. �is helps us to ensure we are compliant and meeting best practice.

Our Contract of Employment for Temporary Sta� covers the WTD so employees know and understand their entitlements.

Agency Worker Regulations (AWR)We follow AWR legislation very carefully, approaching the 12 week quali�ing period for a temporary worker we willcontact you and ask you to complete an AWR form. To ensure we both meet legislation and audit requirements youwill need to provide us with pay and holiday details for directly employed sta� in a similar role so we can implement

any changes. O�en directly employed sta� are paid at the same rate we pay our temporary workers so there is noupli� in our rates.

We send a con�rmation le�er to the temporary member of sta� to ensure they are aware of their pay andholiday entitlement a�er the 12 week period.

Auto-enrolment Pension SchemeAs an ethical business we are proud that we directly employ our Industrial sta�. We introduced our “NOW’

Pension Scheme on 1st February 2014, giving all our Temporary Workers access to a pension.

1% is included in the charge rate to our clients to allow for their pension contribution. Since the start ofthe program, to date, we have only had 6 people opt out.
