The Sandvik DL431-7 is a versatile electro-hydrauliclong-hole drilling rig for production and long holedrilling in underground mines. The rig has beendesigned for large vertical and horizontal coverage.The SB120P boom has wide parallel drilling cover-age, long boom extension, 360° rotation and widetilt angle ranges forwards and backwards, thus offer-ing wide drilling variety.Instrumentation and data drilling with various auto-mation options allow maximum performance withsuperior drilling accuracy. Proven CAN-based tech-nology on board allows the operator to set the unitfor any rock conditions. It also makes the upgrade ofautomation level easy, and has a fault finding sys-tem, which reduces downtime. The machine is based on a proven carrier for highmobility. Both drilling and tramming are done fromthe operator's platform.
