The Cycling Union of the Argentine Republic through the Argentinian Federation of Mountain Bike (FACIMO) and Tucuman´s Mountain Bike Club (TMBC) invite all the National Federations of the American Continent afilliated to participate in Argentinian Open of XCO, Round #2, which will be developed from Thursday 13th March until Sunday 16th March, 2014 in the town of San Javier, Tucuman´s province, Argentina. PLACE OF COMPETITION

The Argentinian Open XCO will take place in San Javier, a small town very close to the province Capital in Tucumán.

San Javier hill is located in the province of Tucumán , a distance of about 25 km

from the capital city , San Miguel de Tucumán, using Provincial Highway 340. The path to the hill has over 100 curves and can be seen at all times the typical subtropical vegetation.

With more than 19,000 acres , has a maximum height of about 1876 m summit

Taficillo north . The dominant vegetation is the nimbosilva , forests and mountain forests or Yungas, where the summer villages constitute closest city, Villa Nougués , The Siambón, Raco and San Javier.

Sports activities are practiced like parasailing, trekking , horseback riding ,

mountain biking, hiking, etc. with an ideal environment. It offers a beautiful view : towards west side, the capital and its surrounding

plain, and the other, green countertops having as background the Calchaquies peaks. The temperature is very pleasant throughout the year, especially in summer

because it is transformed into an oasis in relation to the high existing few kilometers "down" in San Miguel de Tucumán temperatures. In winter, occasional snowfalls occur.

On the ridge of the mountain, near Yerba Buena, is the summer village of San

Javier, about 1200 m.

4. REGULATIONS UCI Regulations shall be enforced and UCI Scale of Penalties shall apply. 4.1. XCO Call-up Order For Elite categories, riders will be called in order of the current UCI XCO ranking. Atletes who are not in the UCI Ranking will be sorted in order of registration. To all others categorys by the National Open Championship.

ANNEXE A REQUIREMENTS

• U.C.I License updated of the current year (2014), of the country you represent and passport or DNI.

• The registration fee will be AR$300 for each participant and specialty. • The expiration date of entries is 15/04/2014. • The organization will provide first aid to accident to all athletes which should

have a Health and Accident Insurance. • Please, send within the deadline time set in the Schedule of the event the pre-

registration and registration forms confirmed in a completed form with the U.C.I code and ID or Passport number.

• The Disciplinary Regulations imposed by the U.C.I will be applied since the arrival of the athlete until the end of the competition. That is why we recommends you to behave in a proper way both, in the official timetables of the event and outside them concerned with lodging, restaurant, outdoor, etc.

• We advise you to take seriously the application of the rules imposed by the U.C.I.

• The organization will not be responsible for the payment of extra services like FAX,INTERNET,LAUNDRY,ROOM SERVICE, BAR,TRANSPORT and FOOD not indicated by the us used by each delegation.
