Raster and Vector imagesVector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or

polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.

In computer graphics, a raster graphics image, or bitmap, is a data structure representing a generally rectangular grid of pixels, or points of colour, viewable via a monitor, paper, or other display medium. Raster images are stored in image files with varying formats (see Comparison of graphics file formats).

Anti aliasingAnti-aliasing is a way of making rough edges appear smoother to the human

eye on text and 3D graphics. Anti aliasing is used most often in 3d images and video games because smoothing out the edges of a 3d image Helps to make it look a lot more Realistic

ResolutionResolution is basically the quality of the image. It applies to raster, digital, film

and other images. The Higher the Resolution the more detail the picture has meaning the Quality is improved

The image on the right has a higher resolution than the one on the left.

Colour models

A colour model is an abstract mathematical model describing the way colours can be represented as tuples of numbers, typically as three or four values or colour components

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is a Software program developed by adobe industries that allows you to digitally manipulate photos and pictures with a variety of different tools and effects that allow you to create things that would be impossible to create in Real life

Adobe illustrator

Adobe illustrator is a program that allows you to Create Vector based images so its basically like Drawing with your computer
