UPDATE—Northeast Historical Archaeology Reported by: Susan Maguire, Editor Happy 50th Anniversary to CNEHA! It was great to see everyone at the meetings in Ottawa. I hope you all had a chance to speak with the new editor, Maria O’Donovan! Effective January 1, the journal will have a new home at Binghamton University (SUNY). Maria has been working diligently to take on the position and I am confident that she will do a great job as the new editor. Both Volumes 44 and 45 are just about ready for the printer so they will be in your mailbox in the next few months. The journal website continues to enjoy a strong flow of visitors. The back issue content in electronic format will remain at Buffalo State so you can continue to use the same digital commons website http://digitalcommons.buffalostate.edu/neha/. Electronic content of the two most recent volumes is available for purchase from the CNEHA website http:// www.cneha.org/shopping_cart.html. Of course CNE- HA members have received your print copy of the most recent volumes. The individual articles are available for electronic purchase for $7.50 each or the entire volume is available for $16. Do not forget to purchase the two new Telling Time Posters for your lab. Now available for sale are Tell- ing Time – Historic Lighting and Telling Time in the American Revolution. These posters are $10 each plus shipping. Check out the journal website at http://an- thropology.buffalostate.edu/northeast-historical-archae- ology for ordering information. Thanks so much to the Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology for the opportunity to edit the journal over the last eight years. It has been an amazing experience!

Meets the performance requirements of ASTM C834 standard specification for latex sealants, gradeOºC, for extrudability, artificial weathering, extension recovery, and slump.

Paintable in 2 hours Low odor and easy water clean up Resists cracking and chalking Tack free in 30 minutes.

Surface Preparation & Application:1. Surface must be clean, dry and free of all old caulk, dirt, dust, grease and debris.2. Cut nozzle at 45º angle to desired bead size.3. Load into caulk gun.4. Fill gap or joint with caulk, pushing caulk ahead of nozzle. 5. If necessary, tool or smooth the bead of caulk with a finishing tool for a neat finish. 6. Clean up excess uncured caulk with a damp sponge before it skins over. Cured caulk must be cut or scraped

away. 7. Allow caulk to dry 2 hours (longer in cool or humid conditions) before painting with latex or oil-based

paints.8. Reseal cartridge for storage and reuse.

For Best Results: Apply in temperatures above 40ºF. Do not apply when rain or freezing temperatures are forecasted before full cure can occur. Cold weather and

high humidity will slow down cure time. Do not use below waterline, for filling butt joints, surface defects or tuck-pointing. Joint size should not exceed 3/8” wide x 3/8” deep. If joint depth exceeds 3/8", use backer rod material. Store caulk away from extreme heat or cold.
