Where there is discrepancy between the rates in figures and in words, whichever is less shall govern. Where there is discrepancy between the unit

rate & the line item total resulting from multiplying the unit rate by the quantity, the unit rate as quoted will govern.

If the total amount of bid quoted is less than actual summation of cost of all components or parts as the case may be then the quoted amount shall

govern and difference between the actual summation and the amount quoted shall be considered as a discount.

The Agency shall provide/fill up detailed cost break up ofTools/Tackels/Equipments, Consumable, considred in Part I to the Price Bid

(A2,B2,C2,D2,E2) as a separate Annexure in hard copy along with Bid submission.

All duties, custom duties, taxes (including all Central excise tax, Central Govt. & all state Govt. taxes, PF, EPF to employees if any.) and other

levies payable by the agency or for any other cause as on the date for submission of bids shall be included in the Rates and Prices submitted by the

bidder. No any other taxes shall be paid separately. Only Service Tax which shall be reimbursed on actual, as per govt. rules, on production of

documentary evidence.

Related payment shall be made on the basis of actual work performed as per scope of works which shall be certified by Employer/Engineer-in-

Charge.

Notes :

All quantities of all Operation and Mainteance items are to be considered as per scope, information, details as mentioned in Volume I and II

while quoting the final rate. The manpower charges should be towards wages only to manpower including all allowances, statutory levies like ESI

& EPF Employer shares, but excluding only Service Tax which shall be reimbursed on actual, as per govt. rules, on production of documentary

evidence.

The amount put here is including Sundays, holidays, festival days, rainy days.

A OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

1 Operation: Full time round the clock and year round, operation of Various Electrical System and connected/related works which includes

RMU , HT panel , DG set , LT panel , Transformer , Distribution board , MV panels , Fans , Fixtures , Busduct , cabling works and all other

items which are executed in the premises at Mahatma Mandir including keeping log books and records of Electrical system uptime, Hours of

Operation, down time or failures on various parameters and other functional requirment including liaisoning with Govt. of Gujarat and other

statutary authorities such as Fire service/Explosive department etc. Agency should have all kind of necessary meters, tools and tackles.

Note:- Operation team to ensure smooth operation on daily basis including switching ON, OFF, Lighting automation controls and all operational

works as required by facility management team as per the timing of the place. Bidder/agency to also maintain charts of Voltage, current, power

factor, Active & Reactive power consumption, Maximum demand on a regular basis and shall also ensure to have Maximum demand is

controlled & Power factor correction to unity takes place. This shall be recorded regularly and proper record shall be maintained.

Maintenance:- Maintenance of the system supplied, installed, Commissioned in the premises of Mahatma Mandir . This will include start up /

commissioning routine servicing, regular maintenance, preventive maintenance of equipments and components and break down repairs as and

when occurred, ensuring that system does not remain out of service for a period more than 8 hours in case of major breakdowns and one hour in

the case of minor breakdowns due to any unforeseen break down. The necessary spares and consumables required for satisfactory maintenance

of the installation and system will be supplied by iNDEXTb at free of cost. Agency shall carry out a survey of the entire scope and submit list of

spare required to iNDEXTb. So that necessary material will remain in store. Agency should have all kind of necessary meters, tools and tackles.

Note:- Maintenance team to ensure that routine maintenance on a regular basis is carried out so that all the electrical & Lighting

equipment are checked, maintained at regular intervals and smooth operation can take place. (Detailed Work as Shown in "Scope Of

Work")

Note:- Contractor to also ensure smooth operation on daily basis including switching ON, OFF, Fire Pumps automation controls and all

operational works as required by facility management team as per the timing of the place. Contractor to also maintain charts of Hydrant System

Pressure, Sprinkler System Pressure, Pumps Pressure, Pumps Operating Current, Any Mechanical Noise / Vibration, Diesel Engine Battery

Status, Diesel Tank Level, Lubrication oil Level, Detection System Fault, Alarm Panel Acknowledgement on a regular basis and shall also

ensure to have All the System is controlled & Pressure to be maintained. This shall be recorded regularly and proper record shall be maintained.

The manpower charges should be towards wages only to manpower including all allowances, statutory levies like ESI & EPF Employer shares, but excluding only service tax which shall be reimbursed on

actual, as per govt. rules, on production of documentary evidence.

The rates shall be quoted for this section shall inclusive of cost of Manpower, overhead, statutory expenses, taxes and profit. The amount put here is including Sundays, holidays, festival days, rainy days.

The tenderer should quote manpower charges in financial bid strictly in accordance with the minimum wages as decided by the Central Govt. /GoG If the rates quoted found below the minimum wages,

tender will be rejected.

Actual work done shall be reviewed and noted for making Monthly/Quaterly agreed payments as per Relavnt Payment Clauses.

If the total amount of bid quoted is less than actual summation of cost of all the components/parts as the case may be, then the total quoted amount shall govern and difference between actual summation and

amount quoted shall be considered as a discount.

If total amount of bid is more than actual summation of cost of all components/parts as the case may be,then the individual cost of the components/parts shall govern and total amount shall be reduced to

actual summation and it shall be considered as mistake in totaling.

contract. No other rate escalation in any charges will be made to the successful bidder for difference of minimum wages/charges. Decision of iNDEXTb stands final on this matter

Any ambiguity found in Price bid shall be brought to the notice in writing during pre-bid meeting.
