Jatayu performs as a four-piece comprised of Shylu Ravindran, Sahib Singh, Kashyap Jaishankar, andManu Krishnan.

The information below is to give you a clear description of the sound and stage requirements we needto put on our best show for your event. This will also give you a clear idea of what we expect from you,The Organisers.

The Organisers are expected to provide a �rst class sound system suitable for the venue, including an experienced sound engineer. The band requires the stage to be set up according to the Stage Plot (see below), prior to the arrival of the bands sound engineer.

Jatayu requires a minimum of 2 hours for sound check prior to the start of the show. This period beginsonly after all the backline gear and on-stage equipment is setup, in position, and operational on stage.

It is expected that all the sound equipment provided is of professional quality, in perfect working order,and is accompanied by professional technicians/ engineers.

This is a standard tech rider and a few mentions might not be applicable to the venue or certain other conditions. Please discuss these changes with the band and disregard any changes without priorapproval.

The band has tried to be as generic as possible and have requested for industry standard equipment.Please do not make any substitutions without the prior consent of Jatayu.

Please ensure that the Drum Kit is placed on a riser and must have a Drum Carpet underneath.

All the drumheads in the kit must be fairly new and in mint condition.

For Toms and Kick drum - clear double ply heads; For Snare - coated double ply head

Please ensure that working parts of the kit are not damaged or missing (bushes, lugs, turn keys, etc.)

All gear, including back-line has to be approved by the band prior to the gig.

STAGE PLOT

MONITORING REQUIREMENTS

Shylu - 2 Wedges Sahib - 1 Wedge

Kashyap - 1 Wedge Manu - 1 Wedge + In-Ear

Band will bring In-Ear Monitor. Venue/Sound Vendor/Event Organizer will need to provide In-Ear System.

The Drummer will require an AUX cable to connect to his phone.

SOUND CHECKThe sound, stage & lighting systems must be fully set-up & operational prior to bands load-in time.

Soundcheck will be scheduled prior to the performance/ opening of doors.

The band will require a minimum of 2 hours for setup & sound check.

No changes to the stage will be allowed after sound check.

Recording the performance may be done only with prior permission from the band.

MISCELLANEOUS

Generator backup is highly recommended & UPS for console is required.

The Sound Company must provide enough & extra mics, cables, and stands.

HOSPITALITY

For events in Chennai, the band will require food and beverages provided. As well as,

For events outside of Chennai, the band will require 2 rooms (with smoking facilities),

a green room for rest and freshening up.

along with food and beverages covered for the day of the show.
