History of Israel Wednesdays, January 7, 14, 21, 28 7:30 - 9:00 pm at Temple Building Course Cost: Free In 1948, just three years after the Holocaust had ended, a seeming miracle happened: a Jewish state was proclaimed in Palestine and given the name of “Israel”. Over the next 66 years, that state has weathered wars and uprisings, has grown from a
tiny nation to a military and technological giant, and has tried to determine what sort of country it wants to be.
Come learn about The Land and The Modern State of Isra-el with Rabbi Alpert.
If you are interested, please contact either Rabbi Alpert at [email protected] or (508) 528-5337, or Melissa Folsom, Adult Education Chair, at [email protected]
